12/18 years old French Summer courses - Arcachon Bay We offer Homestay Summer Courses in attractive cities with morning and a full activity program including sports and excursions. This is a unique opportunity for young students from all over the world to discover the French culture and way of life. Host families - Our host families are carefully selected after an interview and a home visit by a local coordinator. Availability, open-mindedness and hospitality are the major criteria for the selection of host families. - Students from different countries and languages can be placed in the same host family. - Host families live at 15-30 minutes approximately from the school. - Students are on full board basis (breakfast, packed lunch and dinner). - Teachers use dynamic, interactive educational methods such as magazines, cds and discussions on current affairs, surveys, and presentations. - Students receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the course. Social and cultural activities - Along with the, students will participate in activities 4 afternoons a week including sightseeing, team sports, beach activities, etc. - One excursion per week is also included. Prices include: - Full board homestay accommodation - 15 per week provided by qualified French teachers. - 4 weekday afternoon activities per week or sports practice - 1 excursion per week to a regional site - Third party liability insurance - The assistance of the local coordinator throughout the stay - Transfer from the nearest airport / train - Arcachon: Arcachon or Bordeaux train station, Bordeaux airport Optional: Transfer from Paris to the chosen destination can be organized at an extra cost Prices do not include: - International transport - Purchase of personal items French Courses 15 classes/ week - Students attend 15 classes a week (3 classes per day of 50 minutes each) with a maximum of 15 participants per course. - Written tests are given on the first day of class to determine the appropriate level (Elementary, Intermediate or Advanced), so the student can receive the best education. - Classes are taught by native French teachers. Supervision and safety - local coordinator meets the student upon arrival and maintain regular contact to ensure a smooth running of the stay. - All our host families live in safe and quiet residential areas. - Qualified French leaders accompany the students during their daily activity sessions & excursions.

Daily pick ups are organized from Arcachon to the surf spot. - Surf lessons are adapted to each level and quality wetsuits and surfboards are lent by the school. The board will be chosen amongst a high range of surfboards including foam boards which are the safest and the most fun to learn with. - Participants also take part in the weekly excursion with the international group.
