UNIFORM GUIDE Suppliers Lands End USA (www.landsend.com) has been selected as our main uniform supplier. An alternative local supplier is Top of the Class (www.schooluniform.ne.jp). They are used for Primary and Secondary School Uniform, Primary School P.E. and swimming kit. The P.E. kit for Secondary is provided by Canterbury and the Swimming Kit by Arena. Order Process Please refer to page 8 for a guide on how to order through Lands End USA. As the supply comes from the USA please allow 4 weeks for delivery. Alternatively, orders through Top of the Class may be placed via www.schooluniform.ne.jp. Uniform Items in the official BST uniform are detailed in this Guide. Certain items must carry the school logo. For all items denoted with the school logo that logo is mandatory. All uniform, including any coats and jackets worn to school, must be clearly labelled with the student s name (for adhesive and iron-on labels, try www.stuckonyou.biz). Sizing Lands End provides detailed charts to ensure accurate sizing. Trousers, shorts and skorts come with adjustable elastic inner waistbands. Trousers can also be hemmed to a specified length. Top of the Class offers a trying on option in Tokyo (Gotanda office). When to wear summer/winter uniforms The winter uniform is worn from Half Term in Term 1 (October) to the Easter holidays. The summer uniform is worn from the start of Term 3 (April) to Half Term in Term 1 (October). Jogging bottoms and fleece shorts may be carried forward from Reception into Year 1 and used for PE. Secondary School Tie The Secondary School tie is available for purchase from the Secondary School reception desk. Jr. 1000 yen Reg. 1200 yen 6th Form. 1500 yen Please pay the exact amount in cash. You must bring the exact amount of money as we cannot give change. No returns or refunds.

Girls costumes must be a one-piece either in a navy or a block colour of your choice. Boys costumes should be speedos or trunks. Board shorts are not acceptable. The BST swimming kit (including cap) is available from Top of the Class. Notes: P.E. Kit and House shirts Children in Nursery and Reception do not change for P.E. House T-shirts may be purchased for house events (such as Sports Day). They are available from Top of the Class. OUTDOOR WEAR Outdoor Wear Outdoor Shoes Indoor Shoes School Bag Hats All coats and jackets worn to school must be navy or black. All Primary children must have a light-weight raincoat of any colour in their backpack at all times. Outdoor shoes must be black leather. Black trainer-style shoes and suede are not acceptable. High heels must not be worn at any time. All Primary children must have white shoes with non-marking soles to wear during assembly (Nursery - Y3) and, during indoor P.E. lessons (all year levels). All Primary children must have a navy or black backpack. BST backpacks are optional. All Secondary students must have a dark colour, plain bag large enough to hold their books and belongings. All Primary children must have a sun hat during summer months. Any style and colour is acceptable, however BST caps and hats are available from our local supplier, Top of the Class.

Once on the BST page, enter the year level (grade) and gender of your child and you will be shown the specific uniform they need. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) 1. How do I add the school logo to the correct item? All items indicated with a school logo come with the logo already affixed to the item of clothing. The logo preference for these items is set to automatically add the logo. 2. Where can I find a size chart? The sizes in orange are the back-ordered sizes. The sizes in grey that turn blue when you roll over them are in stock. 4. What can I do if the delivery date for an item is more than 4 weeks?
