The Kings first hit the ice in 1966 and joined the MJHL in 1967. Every season since the community of Dauphin has been treated to exciting, high end hockey with seven MJHL championship seasons along the way. The team also features numerous off ice attractions during games which are fun for the whole family! The Kings have moved numerous players to the next level, including NCAA Hockey, the National Hockey League and are looking to continue that tradition moving forward. This is the Kings 50th MJHL season and with your support we re hoping it will be one of the best!

The last few hockey seasons have seen the Kings participate in a number of key activities to the community, including school visits, appearances for I Love To Read Month and of course the Dauphin Friendship Centre s Food For Thought Program for schools in the Dauphin area. The Kings also help out throughout the minor hockey season, attending practices and working with the young players of tomorrow! Dauphin Kings Parent & Pride Gala For the past three seasons the Dauphin Kings have hosted their highly successful Parent & Pride Gala. In 2017-18 the event returns to the 11th Avenue Hall in Dauphin on Saturday January 20th, 2018 with a number of attractions including a comedian, silent auction tables and much more. The night is topped off with a first class supper cooked up by the Hall. Last year well over 200 people attended! Tables of eight will be available for purchase later in the season. If you are interested just contact Christian Laughland at the Kings Office. The Kings are always happy to accept prize donations for the event as well. Last year the silent auction raised over $8,000 for the hockey club! Dauphin Kings Par 3 Extravaganza The Annual Dauphin Kings Par 3 Extravaganza is no doubt the highlight of the golfing season in the Parkland and this year the event returns to the illustrious Gilbert Plains Country Club just outside of Dauphin on Saturday June 10th. The course will be adjusted to make each hole a Par 3. There s prizes on every hole including closest to the pins, hole-in-ones and more. Plus don t forget about the great supper after the tournament! You don t have to be a scratch golfer for this event! Like Parent & Pride the Par 3 is a big fundraiser for the Kings.
