Welcome About our Camp Each week, elementary children jump into action, participating in exciting sports programs, exploring nature, becoming involved in performing and creative arts, playing a part in group activities, and attending special events. Our campers expand their horizons, embark on new adventures, and most importantly have fun. Our exceptional program and dedicated staff create an environment that forges lifelong friendships among our campers. We create a summer experience that is unforgettable! Our camp features a unique selection of indoor and outdoor activities and field trips that take advantage of resources in the local area. Our specialty camps are optional programs, operating during regular camp hours, which provide even more choices for unique and exciting adventures. Activity Blocks Invention Convention Calling all inventors! We know our campers have big ideas and we want to see them in action. Invention Convention will focus on brainstorming, designing and sharing invention ideas. Digital Vision Campers explore the tools necessary to capture great images and videos, and refine them through digital imaging. Minute to Win It Campers will get a thrill from working together to complete fun, and sometimes silly, tasks all before time runs out on the clock. Ready, set, go! Express Yourself Let your hidden talents shine! Campers develop creativity and confidence through singing, dancing, acting and more. Rise Up Dream it. Build it. Wreck it. Repeat! Campers build elaborate objects, structures and vehicles, while exploring fundamental principles of engineering and physics. Domino Tricks The game of dominoes is fun, but we have a little twist in store for our campers. We are challenging campers to come up with their best domino toppling tricks. Recycled Beautifully Our campers will see how one person's trash can be another person's treasure by turning recycled materials into beautiful and useful items. STEAM Academy Challenging and fun projects encourage collaboration, decision making, and innovation. Students work together to solve problems, while developing a love of science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Leave a Legacy Campers learn about how they can be heroes in their communities, and find creative ways to give back to those in need. Game Changer We hope our campers are ready for some good old fashioned fun. They ll have a blast building their skills in a variety of indoor and outdoor games. Food for Thought Campers learn kitchen fundamentals and culinary techniques as they slip on their aprons and create yummy snacks. They'll be a master chef in no time! Master Maker From painting, to sculpting, to drawing and more, campers are empowered to express their inner artist and let their imaginations soar.
Specialty Camps Ballet Dance Ages: 3 years and up Learn all the right dance moves this year. An introduction to ballet for your little ballerina. Taught by Ms. Ashley Tolson. Intermediate and Advanced classes available. Clothing: Leotards, skirts, leotards with skirts attached, white or peach/pink leather ballet shoes) Jr Scientists Ages: 3 years and up Get your child interested in the world around them. With loads of hand s on activities and experiments, your little one will be uncovering the mysteries of science one class at a time. Your child will bring home a take home sample each week! Red Dragon Kung-Fu Ages: 3 years and up Teaching self discipline, hygiene, good manners, as well as the latest Kung Fu moves. Red Dragon Kung Fu also talks about stranger danger and how to handle emergency situations. Tennis Ages: 4 years and up Jim Hinson of Wildewood Tennis Center will be instructing our students as they learn the rules of the court, proper tennis form and court etiquette. No racquet needed, Coach Hinson has child size racquets and equipment available if you choose. Gymnastics Ages: 3 years and up Brenda of Joe s Planet Funastics teaches tumbling, trampoline, balance beams, high bars and so much more! This class will increase your child s flexibility, improve their balance, coordination and even their fine motor skills. Dress in comfortable clothing to allow freedom of movement. Soccer Shots Ages: Beginner and Up Soccer Shots is a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling, and the basic rules of the game. Through fun games, songs, and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active.
Specialty Camps Music with Miss Ham & Woody All ages Miss Ham and Woody, her guitar buddy create a unique way for children to learn music while having fun! She uses props, instruments and other creative items in her classes, while teaching songs, chants, finger plays and more! Jump Bunch Ages: All ages JumpBunch ensures that a child s first sports experiences are positive and exposes them to many sports options. JumpBunch kids are more likely to be confident and ready to advance as they join their first organized team, or even as they choose up sides on the playground. Exercise helps build strong bones and muscles, and it helps kids sleep well at night and stay alert during the day. Recommended to wear tennis shoes Kids Dance Party Ages:3 years and up The dance floor comes to your door with kid s Dance party! Your kids will have a BLAST as they learn to move n-groove and rock-n-roll! With kid s dance party in the house, there s no sitting down! Crazy, FUN and energetic hip hop & funk moves to age appropriate music friendly team competition danceoffs, technique and skill drills. Great for boys and girls! Builds concentration, coordination, recall & reaction time! Yoga Star 3 years and up Intro preschool and elementary yoga skills! Fun imagination lessons, create a yoga book to bring home at the end of the week and more. Swimming 3 years and up Swimming is a life skill as well as great exercise and a challenging sport. We offer lessons for ages three and up so that we can all safely enjoy the pleasures of an aquatic environment.
