On the course... We have all taken the virtual tour online. It is a Greg Norman designed course with a lot of bunkers and stone walls with water. It is a beautiful course. I think it is going to require real ball strikers and it is going to have a look like a Grand National possibly. When you look off the tee you see big bunkers and lakes and with that we are excited. I think it is a course that could play very long if it rains, but if you get some dry weather for a few days it will dry out and get some good rolls. On Auburn s success at the SEC Championship... Most of the girls that come to Auburn really want to play at the highest level and to do that you have to practice and play every day and at every tournament with that kind of pressure. I think we try to create those circumstances and get in those circumstances as much as we can throughout the regular season so that when we get to post-season it is not such a big deal. Same amount of pressure - SEC s is no different from the tournament that we just played in. I think we have had the fourthtoughest schedule in the country this year, so we have faced this each and every week and anything can happen. We could be on and bring that trophy back where we think it belongs or it could go another way. They have worked hard and are ready to go, we are just trying to get all five girls going at the same time. On team playing better that results show. The good thing about this year is that each individual has overcome and gotten it done, we just haven t all done it together. We just keep looking and saying there is going to be that tournament where we have three, four or five play well and place well, versus one tournament where one or two are in the top 10 and the next tournament another two are in the top 10. They have all done it, it is just a matter of getting it together. Golf is an individual sport for sure, but in order to bring home those team victories we need to come together. In our last tournament, in the last group on the last day we had a chance to win it until the last hole. So we are getting there. Team to beat. Florida is a very fine team this year, they are a top five team. Georgia is very close to a top five team. Arkansas is a top 10 team and we are a top 10 team. Tennessee has been in the top 10 all year. LSU is a top 20 team and they have some real fiery players. Alabama is also a top 10 team with several wins this season. They are the up-and-coming team right now. There are six teams, in my opinion, that could walk away with the title and no one would say that is a surprise. Vanderbilt is a team that was highly ranked to begin the year but hasn t had a great year, but they certainly have the ability to come in and have a great tournament and get things back on track. It is wide open, as wide open as any time we have played. 2007-08 Auburn Roster Name Year Hometown High School Karlin Beck So. Pike Road, Ala. Trinity Pres. Fr.
