The Sport of Disc Golf Rules and terminology are very similar to traditional ball golf Using a flying disc, players throw from a tee location to a stationary target Players progress down a fairway throwing from where their previous throw landed Trees, terrain, and shrubs in and around the fairways provide challenging obstacles Once a putt lands in the target the hole is completed Disc Golf courses are found mostly in parks but many are located at schools, private properties, churches, or around businesses that use them to draw in customers
