The 10km of Saint Malo is open to runners be they licence-holders or not, born in 2000 or before. The Duo-Marathon is open to runners be they licence-holders or not, born in 1998 or before. The Marathon is open to runners be they licence-holders or not, born in 1996 or before. Participants born after May 29 th 1998, who will be minors on the day of the race, must provide a parental consent form. Runners are reminded that ID checks will be carried out during the race to ensure that it takes place according to these regulations. It is expressly indicated that runners take part in the competition at their own risk and solely under their own responsibility. In order to participate in the race, participants must provide the organiser with: - an FFA or FFTri licence which is valid on the day of the event; OR - an FSCF, FSGT, UFOLEP licence which is valid on the day of the event and which must include the wording non contre-indication à la pratique de l athlétisme en competition

( no contra-indications for participating in athletics competitions ) or non contre-indication de la pratique de la course à pied en competition ( no contra-indications for participating in running competitions ). OR - presentation of a medical certificate or a copy (for those not holding a licence), issued less than a year before the date of the race, including the wording non contre-indication à la pratique de l athlétisme en competition ( no contra-indications for participating in athletics competitions ) or non contre-indication de la pratique de la course à pied en competition ( no contra-indications for participating in running competitions ). Foreign participants must provide a medical certificate stating that they have no contraindications for participating in athlétisme en competition ( athletics competitions ) or course à pied en compétition ( running competitions ), even if they hold a competitive licence issued by an IAAF affiliated federation. The certificate must be dated and signed and must allow the doctor to be identified, regardless of whether the latter works in France or not. If the doctor is foreign, the medical certificate must be written in either French, English, Spanish, German, Italian or Portuguese. The medical certificate or the photocopy of the licence must be handed over when you collect your race bib and at no other time. No medical certificates that are sent beforehand, by post or by email will be accepted. Participation in the Marathon de la Baie du Mont Saint-Michel implies express and unconditional acceptance of the regulations by each competitor. Article 4 How to register Registration for the races may only be done via the online registration platform www.asochallenges.com from October 15 th, 2015. For safety reasons, the organisation reserves the right to limit the number of competitors in the race. Registration is personal, firm and definitive, and registration fees cannot be refunded for any reason whatsoever. Registrations cannot be transferred under any circumstances. Anyone who gives his race bib to a third party will be held responsible in the event of an accident caused by or involving the latter during the race. The organisation declines all responsibility should such an accident occur. The race bib must be completely visible throughout the race. Article 5 Collection of race bibs Race bibs must be collected in the Marathon de la Baie du Mont Saint-Michel Village. The opening hours and location will be communicated shortly on the website of the event and in the newsletters sent to all participants.

Race bibs equipped with chips will be distributed to all participants on presentation of the notification letter downloaded on the website http://www.asochallenges.com/, a proof of identity and their licence or a medical certificate. Please note: No race bibs will be distributed on Sunday, the day of the Marathon and Duo- Marathon. No race bibs will be sent by post. Article 6 Ranking Participants have a maximum time of 1 hour (for the Malouine), 1 hour and 50 minutes (for the 10K of Saint Malo), and 5 hours and 30 minutes (for the marathon and duo-marathon) to cover the route all the way to the finish line. After the end of race vehicle has passed by, competitors must comply with traffic and road regulations. In agreement with the FFA, the age categories will give rise to a separate ranking. Article 7 Security on the Route The organisation will ensure the security of the route and medical services will be available throughout the route and at the finish line. These medical staff may decide that competitors must leave the race on medical grounds. Bicycles, wheeled and/or motorised vehicles are strictly forbidden on the route. Article 8 Timing systems All registered participants will be issued with an electronic chip with their race bibs. The chip will be detected i) at the start line, ii) on the intermediate mats along the route, and iii) at the finish. This chip ensures compliance with the event regulations and allows for the results and rankings for each of the three races to be established. In order to ensure it operates correctly, chips must not be folded or damaged. A competitor who doesn t follow the route cannot be placed at the finish. The electronic detection system has been selected according to strict reliability criteria. Despite tests conducted by the manufacturers, there remain a very low percentage of cases of non-detection. Due to the lack of information resulting from this non-detection, the organiser may be unable to show the official or real time for the competitor concerned in the classification. The organiser cannot be held responsible for this. Article 9 - Refreshments Refreshment stations, offering bottles of water and fruit, will be set up along the entire route. There will be one refreshment station for runners for the 10km, 3 refreshment stations for duo-marathon runners and 8 refreshment stations for marathon runners plus an additional station after the finish line for all the runners.

Article 10 Respecting the environment In order to respect the environment in which the event takes place, it is strictly forbidden to leave litter (paper, plastic wrappers) on the routes. Bins will be provided at all refreshment stations. Participants must make use of them when disposing of waste. Participants must hold onto their litter and wrappers and wait until they reach the places set up by the organisation to dispose of them. A.S.O. reserves the right to exclude participants from the race who deliberately dispose of their waste elsewhere than in these specific areas. Article 11 Fight against doping The Marathon de la Baie du Mont Saint-Michel is a race organised under the authority of the F.F.A., and as a result, anti-doping tests may be set up. Participants in the Marathon de la Baie du Mont Saint-Michel undertake to strictly respect the ban on doping as well as the provisions concerning anti-doping tests, arising from the laws and regulations in force, in particular Articles L.230-1 et seq. of the French Code du Sport (Sports Code). Article 12 - Insurance Civil Liability: In accordance with current legislation, the organiser has taken out insurance covering the financial consequences of its civil liability, that of its officials and that of all the participants in the Marathon de la Baie du Mont Saint-Michel. As for the civil liability of the participants themselves, the afore-mentioned insurance policy will only cover accidents caused by participants during the sporting event. This cover can apply in addition to or in lieu of other insurance policies that participants might take out. A copy of the insurance policy is available to all participants upon request. Personal Accident: All participants in the Marathon de la Baie du Mont Saint-Michel, be they holders of a sporting federation licence or not, may take out insurance by post or, at the latest, when they collect their race bibs. This policy will pay out a sum in the event of physical injury (death or permanent disability) as a result of an accident which has occurred on the race route. Compensation, according to the damages, will be paid if the insured person has an accident while participating in the race. This insurance is optional but strongly recommended. It can be taken out in addition to or instead of any similar insurance cover and, in particular, any cover provided by a sports licence. The information notice and application form are available on the event's website. ( Registrations -> Insurance ) Material Damage: The organiser will not be held responsible for damage (theft, breakage, loss, etc.) to participants personal belongings, not even those left in its care. Participants may not, therefore, take action against the organiser for any damage caused to their equipment. Taking out insurance against such risks is the responsibility of the participant.
