BRING IT TO THE MEET WITH YOU The meet will be held at Lancaster High School s Fulton Field Athletic Complex at 1312 Granville Pike, Lancaster, Ohio 43130. Enter Lancaster High School campus from State Route 37. Parking for coaches, contestants, and spectators is in the lots or along the streets adjacent to the north end of Fulton Field. Buses will be parked off-site. Be sure to get your bus driver s phone number prior to disembarking for the meet. Facility gates open at 8:00. Coaches packets are available at the North Gate of Fulton Field Athletic Complex beginning at 8:00 AM on May 13 th. 1-4 Qualifying Athlete(s) + 1 Coach 5-8 Qualifying Athletes + 2 Coaches 8 + Qualifying Athletes + 3 Coaches Relay team qualifiers -- 6 athletes All spectators of school age and older--$6.00. Bus drivers and school administrators, and extra coaches are not exempt from paying admission into the meet. No team camps permitted in the bleachers. Teams may establish camps behind the visiting bleachers or in the field south of the track. See facility map. The complete track and field uniform consists of shoes, school-issued tops, bottoms or a one-piece uniform. Note: All members of relays who choose to wear visible shirts or undergarments that extend below the uniform tops and/or bottoms must wear the same, solid color undergarment. Hats and caps are prohibited. Each uniform top must include the assigned competition number pinned to the back (Exception: High Jump & Pole Vault Athletes). Any name or number changes from the printed program must be completed on the Number Change form and submitted to the timing station at least 20 minutes prior to this individual s competition. The Referee may ask a competitor to remove an accessory if it is not properly secured, if it poses a danger to a competitor, of if it could damage equipment. Competitors will be asked to remove inappropriate or disrespectful accessories.
Coaching Areas Field Event Athletes Track Event Qualifiers Coaches must wear identifying lanyard and remain in the designated field event coaching areas. No coaches or athletes are permitted inside the track, except at the Awards Area. Boys and Girls Field Events will be competed simultaneously. Report to your event site at least 20 minutes prior to start time. Spike limit is 1/4 in the High Jump, Long Jump, and Pole Vault. Only flat soled shoes are permitted in the Shot Put and Discus. Tall Red flags indicate girls competition site; tall Blue flags indicate boys competition site. Report to the Clerk at least 15 minutes prior to start time. Spike limit is ¼. Only meet management provided starting blocks may be used, except for personally provided Moye standing start blocks. Clerk Stations: All track events report to the Flag Pole, except 200M Dash and 200M Hurdles. 200M Dash and 200M Hurdles report to the 200M starting line. Relay Check-In Card The completed and coach signed relay card found in your coaching packet must be given to the Clerk at time of check-in. All relay team members must check in together. Official Meet batons will be issued and may be kept after the race. 4 X 100M - Pink 4 X 200M - Blue 4 X 400M White Relay Markers Team Scoring & Awards Medical Treatment Appeals Procedure Finish Line Spectators Cut tennis balls will be provided. No other markers, including chalk are permitted on the track surface. The first 8 placers in each event will score points for their school team. Scoring is: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1. The first 8 places will earn a medal award at the Awards Podium immediately after their event. Award winners will be ushered to the Awards area by meet officials. Podium pictures will be taken and offered for optional sale after the meet. Athletes who must prepare for a future event will NOT be held in the awards area. Certified athletic trainers are on site near the finish area. If your athlete becomes ill or injured, report with your student to this area. If a coach believes a rule has been misapplied or misinterpreted, an appeal may be filed with the Referee. Such appeal must be in writing. Appeal Forms can be obtained at the Awards Tent on the infield. Return the Appeal Form to the Awards Tent where the Referee will be summoned. Appeals on judgment decisions are not permitted. The Referee will consider all written appeals. The decision of the Referee is final. There is one finish line, located on the home bleacher side, for all track events. Spectators must remain in or near bleacher seating. No spectators or coaches allowed in the competition areas. Coaches will be permitted in designated coaching areas of the field events.

Make sure disabled parking permit is visible. Follow parking attendant instructions. Coaches Packet & Gates Spectators Contestant Procedures Shot Put Competitor Camp(s) Restroom Facilities Assigned Numbers & Uniforms Coaches competition packets are available at the south ticket booth just outside the Fulton Field Athletic Complex. Contestants and coaches must have admission passes obtained from meet packet for entrance into the athletic complex. Spectator admission is $6.00 for all school aged and older. Admission is possible from either the south or north ticket gate. There is a combined boys and girls seated competition in the shot put and in the 100M Dash. Boys and girls will compete together, but competitors will be acknowledged separately during awards recognition. The seated shot put and 100M Dash are non-team scoring events. Competitors must have implements certified for legality and weight at the blue building near the shot put circle. Legal implements will be provided for those who need them. Competitors can provide their own tent camp in the team camp area at the south end of the athletic complex, or are welcome to use the Officials hospitality tent near the same area. Indoor restroom for seated competitors is located just inside the south ticket gate and portable restroom is near the shot put competition area. Seated athletes must meet all OHSAA and NFHS uniform regulations; however, NFHS rule 4-4 states Modification of the competitor s equipment or uniform (due to medical or religious reasons), pending approval, shall require a
letter of authorization from the state association and shall be made available to the meet referee prior to the beginning of competition. Reporting Procedures Competitors in the 100M Dash must report to the Clerk at the flag pole at 12:30 PM prior to the beginning of their race at 12:48 PM. The Seated Shot Put will be competed after the 100M Dash at approximately 1:45 PM. Report to the shot put area for weighing of the shot put at the blue building near the shot put area. Athletes should check in with the shot put official at 1:25 PM. Equipment Medical Assistance The ultimate responsibility for the maintenance of all equipment rests with the athlete, while the coach is ultimately responsible for assuring that all equipment is legal. If an athlete becomes injured or ill, the coach should contact an athletic trainer who will be stationed inside the track, and remain with the athlete during any deemed necessary treatment.
