The Big 12 is the only power conference in which every team plays each other. ACC, Big Ten and SEC programs will miss five league members while Pac-12 squads will not play two of their conference brethren. 70 percent of Big 12 squads are ranked or receiving votes. With one non-conference game remaining, the Big 12 has won over 72 percent of the matchups and outscored non-league opponents by an average of 16 points a game. Over 73 percent of the Big 12 s non-conference matchups were against FBS teams (including the one game remaining). The Big 12 is the only power conference that has faced three top-five ranked nonconference opponents and four rated in the top 12. Ninety percent of Big 12 programs are averaging 90 percent stadium capacity for home games. Fifty percent of Big 12 teams are ranked in the top 25 nationally in total offense and in the top 26 of scoring offense. Seven Big 12 quarterbacks are ranked among the nation s top 36 in total offense while six are in the top 35 for passing yards a game. Since 2011, the Big 12 is 96-23 (.807) in regular season non-conference games. The Conference is 83-15 (.847) in non-league games in the month of September during the same span. Big 12 teams had 40 touchdown drives in Week 5 with 21 occurring in two minutes or less and eight taking less than 60 seconds. Of the 40 TDs, 21 were rushing scores averaging 11.7 yards and 19 were through the air that averaged 24.1 yards. The Big 12 has 88 rushing touchdowns and 83 passing so far on the season. Senior punter Nick Pardula averaged 41.3 yards on six punts, with a long of 51 yards. That punt gave him 34 career punts of 50 yards or more in his second season as a Jayhawk. The junior threw for 280 yards on 23-of-36 passing, along with 62 rushing yards.
