ARINSAL Arinsal is a town in Vallnord, where you can take a direct Gondola to the Ski Slopes of Arinsal - Pal (Arinsal Sector). The town is full of nightlife with plenty of bars and restaurants with very good atmosphere. The Gondola that takes you to the slopes takes only 10 minutes to go up, where you can find all the services that you need such as bars, restaurant, ski lockers, ski rentals. Arinsal is also, as Pal, a perfect town to stay if you want to avoid taking the bus every day to go to the slopes. PAL La Massana has a modern tourist and cultural complex which contrasts with more traditional buildings. From the middle of the town of La Massana, you can take the gondola that takes you to Pal - Arinsal in Vallnord (Pal sector). The Gondola takes around 12 minutes to take you to Pal Ski Slopes. Pal and Arinsal, are linked by a Gondola and with the same Ski-Pass you can enjoy both areas. Just 2 minutes from la Massana we can find the Dos Valiras Tunnel that links Vallnord Valley with Grandvalira Valley, a great improvement if you want to go to the Ice-ring in Canillo or, if needed, to go to Grandvalira. If you prefer to not take the bus on a daily basis to go skiing La Massana is the perfect town to stay. Arcalis, part of Vallnord is a separate valley with it s own special characteristics. Since it is not connected to Pal/ Arinsal a coach is required to arrive. Arcalis is the only ski station in Andorra completeley facing north, ensuring good quality snow during the whole season. Please contact us for more information. Grandvalira is the biggest ski area in the Pyrenees. Situated north of the Principality of Andorra, near the border with France, Grandvalira is a ski area of 205 km; It can take you over an hour to cross the entire area. It has 6 accesses on tracks along the General road 2, or France road, and each of these accesses belong to a sector of the station: Encamp, Canillo, El Tarter, Soldeu, Grau Roig and Pas de la Casa. ENCAMP Encamp, has one of the longest ski lifts in Europe, the Funicamp, which takes you directly to Grau Roig, saving 30 to 45 minutes by coach. Encamp area is a town full of shops and restaurants for apres skiing. SOLDEU / EL TARTER El Tarter, located in the center of the domain, is a favorite entrance allowing access to all the slopes in both directions and for all levels. It includes snowparks, retrac ski activities, slopes through the woods and offpiste decents. GRAU ROIG Grau Roig has no residential core, but tracks of all levels and a children s circuit in the woods. PAS DE LA CASA Pas de la Casa, at 2000 metres, is the highest located town in Andorra touching the border with France. There is plenty of nightlife and attractive shops but, above all, there is good snow. PERE D URG *** (encamp) Located in the center of Encamp, with stunning views. Hotel Pere d Urg Encamp is ideal for a comfortable access to the Grandvalira ski slopes. Funicamp, the gondola from Encamp to the slopes is located at 900 meters from the hotel, only 15 minutes walking or 2 minutes with bus or the public transport (There is a stop of the public free bus just in front of the hotel). Anyway we recommend to access the slopes from El Tarter, located only 15 minutes away from the hotel. The staff in the hotel is very attentive. There is Wi-Fi in common areas.
