By following your maps, buoy markers and landing locations, you will have no problem enjoying and relaxing whether it be sightseeing, swimming, birding, fishing, or exploring the islands and nature trails. The surrounding wilderness offers an excellent opportunity to see abundant wildlife including moose, black bear, mink, otter, deer, eagles, loons and a variety of ducks. We are located seven miles east of International Falls on U.S. Hwy 11. Turn left on County Road 94 for one mile. There is easy access to International Falls on good highways from all directions. Our airport is served through Delta Airlines with shuttle service available to Northernaire Houseboats of Rainy Lake. The 800-square-foot upper deck offers a beautiful view of Rainy Lake complete with a second steering station and an entertainment area with hot tub and water slide. NORTHERN LIGHTS SERIES Each houseboat includes a tow-behind fishing boat. Since a boat and motor are required with each houseboat rental, you may either bring a boat/motor or rent one from us. As a courtesy to our customers, each Monday and Friday we make a lake run and deliver items ordered, directly to your houseboat.
