Night fishing Departing an hour before sunset we drop anchor just over the Barrier Reef, watch the sunset with a few beers and drop lines approx 100ft onto the coral heads. At night, many more fish come closer to the reef to feed it is a great experience to fish after sunset and all without missing your day on the beach.
Snorkelling The Turks and Caicos Islands are world-renowned for our crystal clear waters and abundant wildlife. No visit is complete without at least one day in the sea, and there's no better way to explore than by snorkelling. We will help design your day to ensure you have an experience you'll remember forever.
Outer reef fishing For this we use only our high speed boat "Wahoooooo!" and travel across the outer banks on the south side. This is shallow water (15 to 25ft) and a beautiful experience. We can even pick up a few lobsters in season. Run time is approx 45mins. These reefs are frequented by divers but very few fishing boats. Every trip catches some surprises. Here the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean. We anchor and catch Grouper (several types), Horse Eye Jacks, Amberjack, every type of Snapper... the list is endless. We fish the incoming and outgoing tides, and deep sea troll during the slack tides. We see numerous whales in season in this area.
Inner reef fishing This takes place at anchor inside the barrier reef or on the reef on the numerous coral heads, catching Snapper, Grouper, Cero, Barracuda, Trigger Fish, Grunts, Hogfish and a myriad of other tropical fish species.
Family fun day Family fun days can consist of anything! Ideas you may wish to consider include snorkel trips, beach picnics, lobster dives (seasonal), conch crawls, sightseeing trips, sunset cocktail cruises, couples getaways, island hopping and more. Please note all of our family fun trips are private charters where the boat is devoted to your family alone.
Deep sea fishing This takes place trolling (the boat is constantly travelling, pulling four to ten lines). In summer we catch Blue Marlin, Yellowfin, Blackfin, Big Eye, Skipjack and Albacore Tuna, plus Mahi Mahi and large oceanic sharks (tigers up to 18ft and bulls around 400lbs are common). In winter we catch big Wahoo, White Marlin, Sailfish, Blackfin and Big Eye Tuna plus Barracuda. We have 7000ft depths just 20 minutes from the marina and so "lines in" usually within 30 minutes.
Sports fishing This takes place along the reef using lighter tackle and we catch Cero Mackerel, Kingfish, Barracuda, Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi and Wahoo.
Options Beach barbecue Lobster hunts Journey to a remote island where you'll enjoy time swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing whilst your crew prepare a delicious island BBQ. Cook lobster, conch, fish or ribs on your own deserted island. It s easy and fun for all the family. Your crew will find the lobster coral heads and teach you how to dive and hook them in just 6' to 10' depths. Fun and delicious! Conch crawl Kids love to snorkel and search for conch. Their shells are spectacular they make wonderful gifts or keepsakes and the meat is delicious in a conch salad. Snorkel the cannons Just 4' below the surface lie several British cannons from the island's original fortress. Children love to snorkel over these historic guns. Today they are protected but it s easy to touch them and feel part of history. Pirates cove/cliff jumping A stunning lagoon cut into the land and hidden by cliffs from the ocean. This is where pirate ships hid until galleons of old passed by, falling prey to pirate gunships. Your boat will enter the lagoon and anchor whilst you enjoy swimming in its crystal clear waters or climb the cliffside for high jumps into the ocean. Island picnics on an uninhabited island Set up base and enjoy a relaxing time on your own island: a truly carefree experience to make your day a lifelong memory. Iguana island Ghost ship Visit this Russian freighter, pushed into shallow waters by hurricane Ike. Climb onboard to explore or high dive into the sea. We have several islands famous for iguanas. These are large reptiles which, although wild, show no fear of man. Many will come to join your picnic, especially if you have fresh fruit (ideally grapes) to feed them.
