We had a lovely spread of food and were surrounded by great people. We are very lucky to have such a warm encouraging club members who come along to watch and offer support even when not riding themselves. Thanks to Trish and Louise for pencilling and to Chris for scoring. Huge congratulations to all our top ten placings and especially to Kim Filmer and Bart who took out the perpetual first place. Well done Kim!!! Looking forward to next years comp already!
// SEPTEMBER RALLY Report by Tennile Well this is my first report, as I was a rally coordinator for the first time at this rally so I was a bit excited! I met Diana and Chris down at the grounds just after 9:30 so we could go in and start setting up and not long after that our 2 morning helpers Penny and Kim turned up to help us get organised. We set up the gazebo, got our table organised then we were all off to saddle up and get ready for the first session. Our instructors for the day were Erin Funk and Heidi Vowles and from what I ve heard everyone enjoyed their lessons. I was in the first session with Heidi and we had a great session. By the time we had finished our lesson, the food table was overflowing and everyone was standing around having a cuppa and a chat and a bite to eat. Thanks to Simone for bringing the leftovers from her browband party from the night before down so we had an array of cakes, muffins and Nicole s now famous muesli slice (recipe is on the FB page-thanks Nicole) to enjoy! Everyone was looking swisho in their new gear from the party - with Gayanne and Jazz looking all lovely and matchy matchy in their red gear and Liz and Rhiannan with their gorgeous new saddle blankets on their girls! We had a few visitors come down for a chat -it was nice to see you again Meg - while watching all the other lessons. All the horses seemed to have a spring in their step, but all in all it was a great day! Also a big Thanks to our afternoon helpers Tanya and Ash and even Kim F (who wasn t even rostered on) who came back to rally and to the others who stayed around to help us all pack up. We are grateful for your help... Many hands make light work! Thanks again to Erin and Heidi for the awesome lessons. They will both be coming back for more rallies as they have been requested by a lot of the members! See you at the next rally!! // 2014 PROGRAM DAY DATE RALLY OR ACTIVITY Friday 17th Oct Whittlesea Adult Riders AGM Saturday 18th Oct Instructional Rally Broadhangar Bruce Ross Sunday 19th Oct TTT Navigation Ride Willowmavin Sunday 2nd Nov W sea Show - HRCAV Ring VENUE INSTRUCTOR COORDINATORS/ ASSISTANTS W Sea Showgrounds Saturday 15th Nov Instructional Rally Club Grounds Erin & Tanja Diana/Trish Julie H, Annelise L, Liz M, Martina R, Bronwyn W Fri/Sat/ Sun 14/15/16 Nov TTT Dressage NEC Wed 26th Nov Mid Week Club Grounds Sunday 7th Dec Official Show Club Grounds Friday 12th Dec Christmas Breakup Must Bar Sat/Sun 10-11th Jan TTT Showing NEC
