The Harley s brng us together, but t s the famly atmosphere that keeps us together. As many of you know my mother s breast cancer has come back after she was cancer free for 10 years. Through the past few months the members have proven that we really are a famly. I want to thank everyone for ther knd words, prayers and offers to help n any way they could. People are at ther best when thngs are at ther worst. Lor and I are fortunate that Mom has a tght-knt famly, close frends and a very supportng church famly. Wth me beng an only chld, Lor and I have found our HOG brothers and ssters there to gve us any support we need. I have tred to keep all of my artcles geared toward the events gong on n the chapter and rdng, but I felt t s mportant to remnd everyone that we are more than just a rdng group; we are here for each other to help when needed. We should make sure; there s plenty of room before movng back nto the group n front of the vehcle just passed. Even f you don t want to lead a group, call another member and nvte them out for a rde! That s what the HOG Chapter s all about! Turn your fuel valve (f you have one) to the OFF poston. 4. Put your sde stand down and confrm that t s locked n place. 5. Turn your handlebars full-lock left. 6. Squeeze the front brake lever. 2009 Mult-Chapter Pcnc Recap If you mssed the pcnc ths past Saturday all, I can say s You Mssed a Great Tme of Rdng and Havng Fun! In addton you mssed lots of fellowshp wth bkers from other chapters and a chance to hang out wth all your rdng buddes from the Atlanta chapter. The food was Most Excellent, we couldn t have asked for better weather (warm but wth a nce breeze throughout the day). Grzz was one of the vendors who provded sewng servces and he looked busy throughout the day. The parkng lot was flled wth bkes what a beautful sght. Our own Valere Danel was a wnner n the Bke Show and took home a beautful crystal trophy. The bke games had lots of partcpaton as well as spectators that rooted them onto vctory. chapter, especally to Matt who came n hs wheelchar.
