3. Hazards Identification According to the Dangerous Substances Directive 67/548/EEC the product is classified as: Xn R65 R66 Harmful. Harmful, may cause lung damage if swallowed. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. For additional information on toxicity, please refer to Section 11. Inhalation Skin Harmful: may cause lung damage if swallowed. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL HAZARDS / FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS Low hazard: material can form flammable mixtures or can burn only on heating to temperatures at or above the flash point. Static discharge: product can accumulate static charges which can cause an incendiary electrical discharge. 4. First Aid Measures Ingestion Inhalation Skin Eye If ingested, wash out mouth with water, provided person is conscious. Seek medical advice immediately. Do not induce vomiting. If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Seek medical advice immediately. Immediately remove contaminated clothing and shoes. In case of skin contact, flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes with soap if available. Seek medical advice. In case of contact with eyes, flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Ensure adequate flushing by separating the eyelids with fingers. Seek medical advice immediately. 5. Fire Fighting Measures Firefighting Procedures Special Fire Precautions Hazardous Combustion Products Use water spray to cool surfaces exposed to fire and to protect personnel. If possible, shut off the source of fuel to the fire. Use foam, dry chemical or water spray to extinguish fire. Avoid spraying water directly into storage containers due to danger of boil over. See Section 4 First Aid Measures, and Section 10 Stability and Reactivity. None unusual. Page 2 of 6

6. Accidental Release Measures Procedure(s) of Personal Precaution(s) Methods of Cleaning Up Wear enclosed footwear and chemical-resistant gloves. LAND SPILL: Keep public away. Shut off source if possible to do so without hazard. Advise police if substance has entered a watercourse or sewer or has contaminated soil or vegetation. Take measures to minimize the effect on the ground water. Contain spilled liquid with sand or earth. Recover by pumping (use an explosion proof or hand pump) or with a suitable absorbent. If liquid is too viscous for pumping, scrape up with shovels or pails and place in suitable containers for recycle or disposal. Consult an expert on disposal of recovered material and ensure conformity to local disposal regulations. See Section 4 First Aid Measures, and Section 10 Stability and Reactivity. WATER SPILL: Warn other shipping. Notify port or relevant authority and keep public away. Shut off source if possible to do so without hazard. Confine if possible. Remove from surface by skimming or with suitable absorbents. If allowed by local authorities and environmental agencies sinking and/or suitable dispersants may be used in non-confined waters. Consult an expert on disposal of any recovered material and ensure conformity to local disposal regulations. See Section 4 First Aid Measures, and Section 10 Stability and Reactivity. 7. Handling and Storage Handling Storage Transport Temperature Viscosity Storage/Transport Pressure (kpa) Electrostatic Accumulation Hazard Usual Shipping Containers Keep container closed. Handle and open containers with care. Store in a cool, well-ventilated place away from incompatible materials. DO NOT handle or store near an open flame, sources of heat or sources of ignition. Protect material from direct sunlight. Material will accumulate static charges which may cause an electrical spark (ignition source). Use proper grounding procedures. DO NOT pressurize, cut, heat or weld containers. Empty product containers may contain product residue. DO NOT reuse empty containers without commercial cleaning or reconditioning. Ambient. Keep container tightly closed. Ambient. Keep container tightly closed. 1.67 cst at 25 C. Atmospheric. Yes, use proper grounding procedure. Steel drums. Page 3 of 6
