Description of position: Specific qualifications required: Conditions of bonus: * Perform responsibilities related to the IAM Elite Aquatic Risk Prevention Program. * Provide swimmer protection of aquatic areas, dispatch attractions, rule enforcement, administer first aid and CPR, and provide exceptional customer service. * Must attend a minimum of 4 hours of in-service training per month to retain an active license. * Participate in park's audit program. * Continuously maintain 10/20-protection rule over the customers in their respective area while on the lifeguard stand. * Respond to any situations that compromise the safety of the guests in their respective area while on the lifeguard stand. * Ensure all riders meet minimum height requirements. * Adhere to all operating procedures as outlined in the water park standard operating procedures for the positions they are staffing. Female aquatics staff will be able to wear their own bathing suits because they wear a company t-shirt and shorts. Bathing suits have to be solid color (navy blue, red or black); no string bikinis accepted. Will issue 2 shirts; 1 pair of shorts. Aquatic shoes are required; they must have heel straps. Lifeguards must purchase a Lifeguard book for $35.00 and a code to take the test for $5.00. The $35.00 will be refunded if the Lifeguard book is returned in good condition; no refund on the code. Other park positions: 2 shirts are provided at no cost. Those students are required to purchase khaki shorts, a brown or black belt and non-slip closed-toe shoes worn with white ankle socks. Shorts, belt, socks and shoes can be purchased at Wal-Mart or Target. Caps can be purchased for $7.00 and additional shirts for $13.00. Do you have company grooming requirements?
