Therefore it is not allowed to hand a photo tabard over to another person, whether this person has been officially accredited or not. Media Red Zones There are several Red Zones, these are indicated on the map at the end of this document. You are required to check this map and be aware of these restricted areas. Anyone caught taking photographs in these areas will be required to report to the National Press Officer to explain their actions and their track side access passes will be withdrawn. Also check the media red zone-regulations for the demonstrations. Please note that there are specific Red Zones active during the races. The Red Zones only apply for the races. Even if an area is not classified as a Red Zone, you must make your own assessment whether it is safe to stand in that area or not. The Race Director can add a Red Zone at any time if he deems an area to be unsafe. Working Trackside You must have a barrier between you and the track at all times when the track is live. It is forbidden to lean on, or over, the barriers. Always keep in mind that if a car crashes into the guardrail, that this barrier will come towards you. Therefore, always keep enough distance (min. 1 meter) between you and the guardrail. Further, you may not cross these barriers, or place your cameras on these barriers. Do not stand in breaks (f.e. recue car openings) in the barriers. If you want to cross over the track, you must ask permission of officials. Crossing is only allowed in between sessions and you must have a valid tabard for that specific part of the track. You should not stand in front of any debris fences unless authorized to do so. When you are listening to the commentary on a radio, only use one ear piece, not two. The use of ipods and MP3 players when working trackside is strictly forbidden.

Crashes & accidents All photographers should always stay behind the barriers, also when they witness a big crash. If any photographer is seen on track (without barriers) during this event, they will be instantly be removed from the circuit. If you witness a crash where medical assistance is being given, please respect the medical privacy of the driver (and the people involved), keep distance of the incident and do not publish any details or images of the incident. Be aware of this, and move to the back of the car rapidly.
