Development Strategy This is Stepstone Enterprises Development Strategy for Italian Soccer Academy in the Americas
The following slide represents all the activities, products and elements created by Stepstone Enterprises (SSE). Many of the activities within the program have been created based on previous experiences. Stepstone Enterprises uses these programs as a vehicle in establishing a rewards program through which children are channeled in their development until they reach the desired goal (University or pro football). The end result for each child involved, is a lifetime opportunity and an important international experience in academics, culture and sports. SSE sources funds for achieving many of its philanthropic efforts entirely through company generated funds.

First Step: Camps The Milan Junior Camp program is the official camp program of the Italian club, AC Milan, and the first stepping stone in a follow-up program for young talents that features the characteristics and values the that SSE is seeking in athletes. It s a recreational program that serves the dual purpose of entertaining while also identifying those highly qualified talents from an early age, and following them during their development as athletes and individuals. This is the base for all of the other programs and processes. The Italian Soccer Academy Camps replicates this model with UEFA A and B licensed coaches, intrinsically familiar with the European youth soccer development standard. www.milanjuniorcamp.us
Second step: Milan Junior Camp Day The Milan Junior Camp Day is the most important event for all participants of the Milan Junior Camp. Each year, by the end of the camp season, the best players from each camp are selected by the AC Milan Coaches to participate in an event organized by SSE in Milan. During this event, all participants will have the posibility of living an unforgettable experience by playing a friendly tournament in the Vismara Sports Center (Where the AC Milan Youth Team trains) and enjoying a match at the famous San Siro Stadium. The Milan Junior Camp Day is a chance to experience first-hand the AC Milan world, play soccer, visit Milan, and meet new friends from all over the world. This step is also important as it focuses on selecting the talents tha will continue a process as Elite players. In this stage, the interaction of the young players and their teammates is observed in a competitive environment (As opposed to the previous step, mainly a recreational one), and they begin to hone their skills and features in an international competitive stage (USA, Italy, Colombia, Argentina) This opportunity leads to their selection as elite talents, which are followed personally by Eddie Marles.
Third step: Junior Elite Teams The most outstanding talents are part of the Elite International teams. These groups are focused on high level competitions and events. Generally, these groups are made up of children that are selected from camps, soccer schools and other SSE and AC Milan related events. The participants are usually integrated for several years, before they move onto their final stage, which is the College Showcase Program. Players age ranges from 9 through 17, and may participate in up to 4 international tournaments every year; they are part of one of the most complete development processes for young players from around the world. There are currently several Elite International teams from the Americas. This is where the long term observation process begins for most participants Elite Teams:
Fourth step: Elite Tournaments The teams previously mentioned constantly tour the world in the tournaments that SSE organizes for AC Milan, and their members continue to hone their skills. The following are the available tournaments for the Elite International Teams: Copa Americana Milan Junior Held in Colombia during the month of December, the Copa Americana Milan Junior is a sports and cultural event. This tournament provides a new challenge for teams and players looking for opponents with the South American style of play and creativity, and that come from an uncontrolled soccer environment. The Copa Americana also features the best ranking Milan Junior Elite International teams. It s an exchange of experiences, folklore and the sport customs between South America and the rest of the world. The Continental Cup The AC Milan Continental Cup is a unique international youth soccer tournament, involving athletes that have the chance of a lifetime to play competitive soccer against some of the top ranking teams from across the United States and around the world while experiencing a travel adventure and cultural exchange beyond comparison.
Fifth step: College Showcase This Youth Program has actively engaged in creating opportunities for its program participants through the efforts of Stepstone Enterprises and a number of universities in the USA and abroad. Through these efforts, participants have the opportunity to be showcased in front of scouts of some of the most important soccer universities in the USA and abroad. This opportunity finalizes the development cicle of each participant by providing them the possibility of being observed by Universities and assisting them in the awareness process so that they may be better prepared for : eligibility and requirements for admission and the scholarship process. Sixth step: Pro Showcase The Pro Showcase is intended to provide opportunity for players that have a professional level and that are seeking concrete playing and contracting situations. Currently, the program places several players in various leagues around the world. Such leagues include MLS, NASL, Lega Calcio, La Liga, Colfutbol, and others. We provide support for : Tryouts Placement contracting This program is for players between the ages of 17-22 Try outs will be coordinated in Italy, and other countries in Europe
