Manager The team manager serves as a primary point of contact between their specific team and the SRVC coaching staff and Board members regarding general team matters such as club policies, tournaments and team volunteer positions. Assist Club Uniform Coordinator with uniform orders including distribution and returns. Facilitate communications for the team regarding tournament details (pools/game schedule and tournament facility information). Familiarize yourself with the CHRVA website. Tournament Preparations: One Week Out - Check the CHRVA website pools tab for upcoming tournament one week prior and let coaches know what time the first game is scheduled. Find out from the coaches what time players should arrive and what color jersey should be worn. Send this including pool information to the team roster. In addition, include the exact address and any directions that are posted, details about food concessions and what you are allowed to bring, what time to arrive and the game schedule Scrimmage Preparations: Send scrimmage reminders to your team/age group along with any related information or details provided by your team s head coach. Scorer Coordinator 2 per team Must become a certified scorekeeper. To get scorer certified, register for CHRVA (include the background check option) and take the online Scorekeeper Class. See step by step instructions on bottom of CHRVA home page scorekeeper certification. Provide team players with information regarding online scorekeeping classes and assistance getting ratings/evaluations completed. Make sure the players on your team are taking the class as well. SRVC reimburses adult volunteers for registration/class expenses. Prior to the tournament, ensure all scorekeeping work teams are assigned according to the SRVC work schedule and communicated to the team/tournament coordinator. Assist with scorekeeping table at tournaments and ensure their team has the necessary scorekeepers available for all required tournament working matches. s must have a certified adult scorekeeper for each tournament. Social Coordinator 1-2 per team Plan and chaperone a minimum of 2 team outings or activities during the season. These events are paid for collectively by the participants. The Social Coordinator will be responsible for all related finances. Work with Club Events Coordinator to coordinate end of season party. Register with CHRVA (include the background check option). SRVC reimburses for these expenses. Give receipt to SRVC Finance Board member. Board Point of Contact Club Events Coordinator Game Statistics 2-3 per team Take game stats at each tournament per the coach s direction. After each tournament, enter game stats into a spreadsheet (provided by SRVC) and email to coach within 2 days of tournament. Board Point of Contact Technical Director Photographer Take pictures at tournaments, social events and outings and post on the SRVC photo site for parents and authorized members to view and or download. Download privileges should be available to all team players and their parents. Share the team s tournament accomplishments by sending photograph(s) and a short paragraph summary of the news/event to club Secretary. Board Point of Contact Secretary
Videographer 1 2 per team Work with head coach to discuss requirements and record videos at tournaments. Provide videos to coaches at first practice following the tournament or as instructed. Read college recruiting video tips stored on SRVC website. Help others to get videos together for college recruiting. Board Point of Contact Secretary Culture Keeper A Positive Youth Sports Culture involves not only the coaches and athletes, but also parents and fans. That s where the Culture Keeper comes in. The Culture Keeper s job is to spread the word about Positive Coaching to parents and fans both on and off the court. Board Point of Contact Director Club Events Coordinator Club Work with Board to plan and coordinate club-wide events including: o Tryouts o Camps o Open House o Parents Night o Club Photo Night o College Recruiting Videos o End of Year Party Manage all tasks required to support and promote these events o Coordinate with other Board members and volunteers as needed to manage all related operational processes o Coordinate with Facilities Coordinator to reserve necessary gym space or meeting facilities
o Coordinate with Club Director and other Board members to acquire or purchase giveaways including promotional items and t-shirts for camps o Coordinate with Treasurer to define costs, manage event budget and ensure all necessary payments are made o Create website registration programs if needed o Create website promotional pages and other marketing materials o Social media announcements o Email notices and reminders o Respond to event participant s requests for support or additional information including registration and event information o Coordinate with Secretary to prepare any necessary event materials including handouts and presentations Club Uniform Coordinator Club Working with team managers and coaches, responsible for all uniform orders, delivery and pickup. Coordinate and order additional SRVC gear as needed. Indoor uniforms and other team gear for Coaches and Players Outdoor uniforms (beach) for Coaches and Players Early in the indoor season, setup and coordinate online Store with team gear vendor as needed Board Point of Contact Director, Treasurer Fundraising Club Help coordinate and organize one club wide fundraising event per season if applicable.
