Safety Information Collyn is a Registered Nurse and will be going on this trip as well as other trained first aid responders. Transportation Holiday Tours of Randleman will be handling our travel to and from Ocoee, TN. Camp map and directions are attached. Camp Directions Country Store While visiting Horn s Creek don t miss our Country Store. The Country Store is located just across the creek from the dining hall/office. Pick up souvenirs, gifts, ice cream, snacks, soft drinks, t-shirts, hats, rafting shoes, or personal items. Activities Water Park with 100 ft. speed slide, wave pool, lazy river, and a wet climbing wall! The waterslide at Horn's Creek is ready to cool you off and give you the ride of your life! Our 193 foot waterslide sends you screaming down before you make a splashdown into the pool below. Also, try your climbing skills on our new Water Wall! Try to make it to the top as water sprays you from all directions! Horn's Creek has also completed a wave pool and lazy river. High Ropes Course with climbing wall, 1000 ft. zip line, and a giant swing! We have a unique high ropes course located in a wooded valley that offers a wide range of challenges for all skill levels. Our high elements include a climbing wall 50' tall, a 1000' long zip wire, and a giant swing that drops you 40 feet and sends you over 80 feet high! Low Ropes Course designed to develop team work, test problem solving skills, and build trust! We have a variety of low elements that target communication skills, problem solving, team work, trust, and more. The processing at the end of each element is an essential part of the experience. Adventure Race featuring plenty of mud! Mud. Mud. Mud. Your group is divided into teams of 10 to 15. Each group will be timed through four stages. First stage, blind fold swamp relay race. Second stage, paintball target competition. Third stage, team mud pit race. Sixty feet of mud, five feet deep. Fourth stage, group tug-of-war over a mud pit. Fifth stage, get wet raft race. Paintball Course spanning 3 wooded acres Horn s Creek has two intense paintball fields covering three acres of top notch terrain. We provide the mask, CO2, all of the paint, and Tippmann 98 semi-automatic guns. We do not supply protective clothing. Please leave your personal guns at home. Rafting on the Ocoee River with our friends at Nantahala Outdoor Center! After listening to a trip talk and getting outfitted in your river gear, a dedicated bus will pick you up and take you directly to the put-in. At the end of the trip the bus will return you directly to the resort.

Code of Conduct for Campers 1. Participants of the same gender will be grouped together into rooms. a) Though participants could interact with members of other rooms, no participant can change his/her assigned Room. b) Each Camper is to stay in the Room assigned the whole week of camp 2. Under no circumstance should a male participant be found at the girls' lodging. Neither should any female enter into a male participant's lodging. This includes counselors (even if it is your son or daughter in the room) for your protection as well as the churches. Violation of this rule will result in a call to the student s parents and they will be requested to come and pick up their child. 3. All participants must follow the Camp Meeting Program. a) No one should excuse himself/herself from any of the scheduled activities. b) Everyone is expected to participate in the activities 4. All participants must obey the instructions of the Adult Leaders. 5. A Room would be supervised by the Adult Leader whose duties are: a) To maintain order and discipline among their group by reporting misbehavior b) To make sure their Rooms are not abused c) To make sure Team members follow the Camp Meeting Program 6. Please respect the property. Students will be held personally liable for any damage caused to the property environment. 7. No MP3/CD/DVD players, radio, laptop, electronic games or anything that is disruptive to a proper learning environment will be allowed at Camp these items will be taken so don t allow your student to bring them. 8. For safety reasons, no participant is to venture from the property grounds unless given permission or with an Adult Leader. Also, there will be swimming throughout the week, let us know if your child is not a great swimmer. a) No participant should walk alone. Groups of less than three Campers are discouraged. b) Bringing of valuable items that could easily be lost is discouraged. Please label all your belongings. 9. Please respect other people's privacy - e.g. knock before entering into any Room. What to Bring: Each participant may bring: Bed Linens (Sleeping bag, Pillow, Linens, etc.) Appropriate Clothing for rafting and outdoor games (Swimsuit, Towels, etc.) please label all clothing 2 Sets of Old Clothing that would be OK to get muddy, filthy ruined please label all clothing Big Plastic Bag for Wet Clothes (with name of student on the bag) Appropriate Clothing for morning and evening services (shorts, flip flops, etc.) please label all clothing Running shoes; flip-flops; old tennis shoes or secure sandals for rafting Bible, Notebook, pen/pencil to take notes Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, sponge, towel, wash cloth and personal accessories. Medication (please label this and let a counselor know any details) Sunscreen Spending money (for snacks as well as food on the way to and from TN) Rain Jacket, Umbrella Backpack, Water Bottles, Flashlight, Frisbee, Football, Sunglasses, ENOs (if you would like) Cards, Games for possible rainy cabin time What NOT to Bring: Each participant must NOT bring: Clothing that is inappropriate (worldly, offensive slogans) No Bikinis or Speedos (Please purchase a one piece bathing suit or tankini that touches for your student) Please do not bring Cell Phones, CD, DVD or MP3 players, electronic games or weapons of any kind Tobacco, drugs, alcohol, or weapons Fireworks or Waterballons
