Go to the window marked ATTENDANCE when you are arriving late or checking out early. The Main Office window is utilized for everything else, and is marked MAIN OFFICE. Remember, I.D. is required when checking out a student. Also, please make sure forgotten items brought to the office are clearly marked with student s name. Falcon Fan Day: On Falcon Fan Days, students have the opportunity to stay after school and take part in fun, supervised activities from 2:25-4:00pm while waiting for the sports events to begin. Student ID cards are required to attend Falcon Fan Day. If you do not have your ID, you may come to the front office and purchase a new one for $3.00. Falcon Smart will offer a concession stand with most items costing $1.00. Pick-up times will vary depending on the sporting event, and will be listed in the weekly bulletin.

Item 4 Race for the Future: Join us at Race for the Future on Saturday, October 14 th. It s going to be a lot of fun, and it helps kids! Join us as we compete against Bernard Campbell and Pleasant Lea Middle Schools to hold our title as reigning champs! The event will be held on Friday, September 29 th at Pleasant Lea Middle School from 5:30-7:30pm. Fill out the attached registration form and turn it into the front office no later than Friday, September 22 nd. Don t miss out on all the fun! Spectators are welcome for a $1.00 entry fee at the door. Sponsored by Falcon Smart. Picture Proofs: School picture proofs were mailed home on Tuesday, September 5th. Online ordering is also available through Pearce-Haub Photographics at www.haubstudio.com. Please order online or turn in your order to school by Wednesday, September 20th. Picture Make-ups & Retakes: Pearce-Haub Photographics is holding a retake/last chance day at the studio (702 SE Blue Parkway, Lee's Summit, MO 64063 Phone: 816-524-4188) on Wednesday, September 27th from 2:30pm-5:30pm. It is walk-in based, no appointment necessary. Students who were absent on picture day can have a first time photo take at no charge. Retakes are offered for $5.00. A new proof plan will be created and mailed home and the new photo will replace the old one. Falcon Smart: T-shirts are only $10 each. They are only available while supplies last. Hurry, quantities are limited! 10th Annual 3-Middle School Tug of War Tournament September 29, 2017 (Friday) 5:30-7:00 PM in the PLMS Gym Information: Registration Form10 and payment are due Friday, September 22nd to the front office. Maximum of 10 people per team. (YOU CAN ONLY BE ON ONE TEAM.) All members of a team must attend. Teachers/Staff are welcome to participate. $10 per team $1 per spectator (anyone not involved on a team) All team members are to remain seated in the bleachers when they are not competing. Doors open at 5:15 PM for registration of teams/captains. No entry will be permitted earlier except to Smart Program volunteers with prior permission. Rides must be at PLMS to pick you up at 7 PM. Teams must report by 5:15 PM. If you are late to check in, you may be forced to forfeit the first round of the double elimination tournament. Please complete the following registration and return to the front office by Friday, September 22nd. Please have all team members read through the rules before coming to the competition. (Back of this page) Winning team will receive prizes. Good Luck!

Tug-of-War Rules 1. Each team will line up facing the center of the rope. 2. The whistle will sound to signal the start of the pull. 3. A team may not wrap the rope around anyone s body to help anchor the pull. 4. When the flag passes one of the cones, the whistle will sound again indicating one team has won the pull. 5. Have fun and good luck!
