Meet with Sport Rec Advisor from your university/college. Know the rules of reimbursement, travel and other information the school will need from you. (receipts etc) Gather player availability for regional tournaments. Create a budget that best fits where you will be traveling and what tennis materials you will need for practice. (tennis balls, food, gas, hotel etc.) Rank your teams based on player performance. (A, B, C teams) Register for regional tournaments. (most sign up the week before or week of tourn.) If you can not attend more then one regional tournament set up dual matches with other TOC clubs near you. (information will be given to all captains for scheduling) Delegate small tasks if the work load is too much. Make sure you are documenting your community service hours!

(ex. children hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living, after school programs ) Senior Club, Kids Tennis Club Local festivals, parades, university tailgates
How to Get Started: Participants must be a USTA Texas Section USTA League player currently enrolled at a college or university to be eligible (all current full-time, half-time, as well as graduate students are eligible). Players must be registered on a team and have a team number and current USTA membership in order to qualify. Approved Leagues include Adult 18 & Over, Mixed 18 & Over, Tri-Level, Combo and Lone Star. Players must complete the REIMBURSEMENT FORM and upload a copy of their most recent student class schedule. Once approved, USTA Texas will reimburse you for one (1) USTA Texas League registration fee minus the $3 Active Network (TennisLink) fee to the address you provide. Allow 4 weeks for processing. Reimbursement will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. The final deadline to submit for the 2014 USTA League season is September 30, 2014.
