Competitors Please Note: In the interest of equine welfare For Jumping competitors entering classes in other Rings: No Horse/Pony may compete in any more than 3 Classes in Ring 5. For Competitors entering only Classes in Ring 5: No Horse/Pony may compete in any more than 4 Classes.
HRF Show Rules: 1. The Committee reserves the right to refuse entry. 2. Hard hats to current regulation impact standards must be worn, with straps fastened, at all times by those mounted 3. Proper Footwear with a defined heel must be worn at all times when mounted. 4. The organisers and landowners will not accept liability for any injury, accident, damage or loss caused by or to any person, animal or property, whether competing, attending or otherwise. 5. Horse and Ponies must be 4 years old or over to compete in the ridden classes. 6. No child under the age of 3 will be allowed to compete. 7. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 8. Protests or complaints must be made in writing within 20 minutes to the chairman or the secretary, with a 10.00 deposit, which will be returned if the complaint is upheld. 9. Ages for all competitors are taken as of 1 st January 2016. 10. Litter bins are provided for your use, so please use them, or, preferably, take your litter home with you. 11. Lorries and trailers must not be mucked out onto the showground. 12. Interference from outside the ring will result in elimination. 13. Disqualification for the day can result from: a. Excessive use of whip or spurs b. Dangerous riding c. Riding a sick or lame animal d. Any breach of the rules 14. In the interest of safety it is only permissible to walk your ponies in the trailer lines, cantering among them is not allowed. THE JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL *Although we have tried hard to organise the running order as best as possible, some classes may clash. Out of courtesy to the Judges, classes will only be held open for 10 minutes.
