Greetings, I would like to let everybody know what an honor it has been to be the lodges acting Governor this last year. I could not have done it without the help from Rich Sloane, Bill Goodwin, CY Morris, Tate Wood and William McNelley (My Officers). A big thank you goes to our WOTM too, especially Kathy, Tammy Freeland, Natalie and Wilma. It was great working with you all throughout the past year. And last but not least the best volunteers I have worked with. Thanks Karl, Kathy, Bill & Rea Jean, Harold & Franci, Tammy F., Tami C., Natalie, Vicky, Wilma, Mike & Tracy, Jan, Denise, Louis. I apologize in advance for any other volunteer s names I may have missed. Thank You Thank You!!! With the new incoming Officers, I feel that we will see good things happening for the good of the Lodge. In addition I have learned a great deal about the business end of running the Moose Lodge during my two years as JR Governor and acting Governor, which I know will help me in my new position coming up as Lodge Administrator. As Administrator I am planning on being in the office every morning at least a couple of hours before I have to go to work. And after work I will be putting in as much time as needed, which looks like from around 7:30 PM ish till 10:30 or 11 PM. On my days off which are Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I plan on being in the office from 7 AM till 5 or 6 PM. I will post office hours on the outside front door and on the office door. This is my plan until I get the hang of the job. Realizing that I cannot replace Richard, I will try my hardest to do the job the best I can. I am here to serve all the members and keep the lodge running smooth. Fraternally, Greg Amador, Jr. Governor 4 Don t Forget To Use Your S.H.A.R.E.S. card! Our Lodge gets a 3% donation of total spent every quarter! 21

Administrator s Message: Thanks to all of our Lodge and Chapter members who put in so much time cooking, cleaning, repairing, bartending, newsletter and website, working on our Community Service projects and many other activities around the Lodge. We also thank all those who support our activities, your contributions keep us going. We appreciate all of you. Our election of officers will be at the General Lodge meeting on Thursday April 2, 2015. We have already received several letters from members who submitted their names for all offices. This is a most rewarding experience and the Lodge needs you. The Moose International Convention in Nashville will be July 3-7, 2015. Anyone interested in going can register online at www.mooseintl.org As most members already know, I will be retiring at the end of this fiscal year, April 30. I have enjoyed the 37 years as Secretary and later Administrator and it has been a privilege and honor to serve all of our members of the Lodge and Chapter. I thank the many Lodge and Chapter members who have given me the support, encouragement and assistance when needed. I could not have done this alone. The support of my wife Anne and my children who are also Moose members has been wonderful for all the time I was away from home. For some trivia, I have the Moose to thank for introducing me to Anne. We met at the Lodge when she was the Chapter Recorder and I was Lodge Secretary and we had our wedding reception here as did my daughter and her husband and my son was born during a Moose State Convention the year I was the District President. I especially thank Susie Prater and Liz Connelly who were our office assistants for many years. Their knowledge of the computer programs necessary to keep things going was invaluable. I have much more to be thankful for by being a Moose not the least of which is all the friends made around our Lodge, the District, Legion and the California-Nevada Moose Association. I will still be around to help our new Administrator Greg Amador get settled in if needed. He is a most dedicated and competent officer and will do a great job in his new position. He is a great cook as well and has worked on many of our work projects the last few years. Thank you to all for your support of our Lodge, Mooseheart, Moosehaven and the Loyal Order of Moose. Fraternally Rich Sloane, Administrator 6 19
