WHO ARE WE? We are a premium road and track cycling team based in NYC and composed of 30+ athletes. We are a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization. All contributions are tax deductible. We prioritize fun, camaraderie, competitive spirit, hard work and devotion to the advancement of cycling. We are not paid to race. We are not paid to train. We are professionals and students, men and women, elite racers and amateurs, but what we all have in common is a shared love of our sport and a desire to excel. FOUNDER The team continues on in loving memory of Dave Jordan who passed away from complications of a brain tumor in July 2012. Dave s career as a cycling coach impacted a variety of local, collegiate, national and Olympic team cyclists. He was a successful racer, both amateur and professional. Overall, he had more than 200 podium appearances, including eight New York State Cycling Championships. Dave raced competitively in the United States and Europe for more than 20 years. CRCA Dave Jordan Racing operates as one of the 30+ sub-teams of the larger Century Road Club Association (CRCA), the nation s oldest cycling club with 112 years of history and tradition.
