All current Swimming/Nation Canada (SNC) rules will be followed. SNC warm-up procedures will be in effect. Eligibility: All swimmers registered with SNC or members of associations affiliated with FINA are eligible. Qualifying Times: There are no qualifying standards for this meet. 10 & Under Girls and 11 & Under Boys should only enter the 200 freestyle and 200 backstroke if they are able to swim faster than 4:00.00 for the event. Age Groups: Girls: 10 & Under, 11-12, 13-14, 15 & Over. Boys: 11 & Under, 12-13, 14-15, 16 & Over. Entries: Entries are to be submitted using Hy-Tek. Hy-Tek files are to be uploaded online at www.swimming.ca. Time of receipt of uploaded entries will be considered as the date and time on the notification email sent to the meet manager through the SNC site. Deck entries will be permitted under the following circumstances: 1. No new heats will be created to accommodate a deck entry. 2. Approval of the meet manager. 3. Swimmers will be charged a rate of $15 per event, payable upon entry being confirmed. 4. All deck entries will be classified as exhibition and will not be eligible for Scoring. Page 1 of 6

Entry Fee: All events - $8.25 per individual entry Entry Deadline: Entries and entry fees are due on or before Monday, November 13 th, 2017 at 5:00 pm. Maximum 1 event for session 1. Maximum 3 events per session on Saturday and Sunday. UCSC swimmers aged 10&U (Girls) and 11&U (Boys) may exceed the maximum number of events. 10&U Girls and 11&U Boys All events are timed finals. 11&O Girls and 12&O Boys 50, 400 and 800 meter events are timed finals. 100 and 200 meter events have prelims and finals. Each age group will have an A final only. Finals will run by gender, youngest to oldest. Distance Event (800 Free): Up to 56 swimmers per gender will be accepted into this event. The top 8 for each age group are guaranteed to be accepted and the remaining spots will be allocated fastest to slowest based on entry times. The top 8 girls and top 8 boys will swim single-laned. Meet management reserves the right to mix genders and/or to double-lane remaining heats. If swimmers do not make the top 56 they will be notified by meet management after after the entry deadline to choose an alternate event (on Friday only). Positive check-in is required for the 800 free by 3:30pm on Friday Nov 24 th. Mixed Relays: Teams can enter 2 relays per age group (11&U / 12-13 / 14-15 / 16 and Over) Meet Management reserves the right to limit enrollment to the first 400 swimmers, alter, revise, or otherwise modify the program. Coaches will be informed of changes prior to the start of the meet. Scratches: No refunds will be issued for scratches received after the entry deadline. For optimal timeouts of the meet, scratches can be sent to the Entries person until 5pm on Wednesday, November 22 nd 2017 at kev.wigginton@gmail.com. Any scratches after that date must be submitted to the Clerk of Course 30 minutes prior to the start of each session by submitting a scratch sheet, complete with the name of the club, the name of the swimmer and the event numbers(s). Seeding: All events will be seeded Slowest to Fastest with the exception of the 800 free and 400 IM which will swim Fastest to Slowest. 10&U Girls/11&U Boys will swim all events in their individual age groups. All other age groups will be senior seeded for prelims and timed finals. Awards: Girls: 10&Under and Boys 11&Under: Ribbons will be awarded for individual events for 1 st to 8 th places in all events. Girls 11&O and Boys 12&O: Additional information regarding awards will be available closer to the event. Results: Official results will be posted on the SNC site www.swimming.ca. Unofficial results will be shared via Meet Mobile, and posted on the website:. Psych Sheets: Psych sheets will be available prior to the meet and will be posted on the website: Heat Sheets: Heat sheets will be made available via Meet Mobile as well as being posted on the University of Calgary Swim Club website: prior to each session. We will also post a hard copy in the viewing area for those who don t have access to Meet Mobile or the UCSC website. Heat sheets will not be available for sale. Officials and coaches will still be provided with heat sheets prior to the start of each session. Coaches Meeting: If required, a coaches meeting may be held on Friday November 24 th at 4:15pm outside the official/hospitality room. Otherwise, notices pertaining to the meet will be placed in each clubs hanging folders in the official/hospitality room.
