Allow yourself enough travelling time to get to the spectator points as listed in this Spectator Guide. AT ALL TIMES OBEY THE RULES OF THE ROAD, as well as the instructions of traffic and rally officials, spectator safety officers and the marshals. DO NOT LITTER IN THE FORESTS OR LIGHT FIRES. AT ALL TIMES PARK IN A SAFE PLACE OFF THE ROAD AND AVOID VEHICLE CONGESTION. Make way for the rally cars. PICK YOUR VANTAGE POINT CAREFULLY high on a hill or behind the tree line is best. DO NOT SPECTATE FROM DANGEROUS POINTS, i.e. blind rises, on the outside of fast corners and sweeps or at turns where rally cars will be under heavy braking. (Rally drivers make creative use of the whole road.) DO NOT CROSS INTO DEMARCATED PROHIBITED AREAS. Keep your CHILDREN UNDER CLOSE SUPERVISION at all times. Friday 18 October 2013 Rally Parade The rally cars will parade through the centre of Polokwane from the service park situated within the Peter Mokaba Stadium to the Polokwane City Council Chambers on the corners of Bodenstein and Kerk Streets, starting at 11:00 From the Stadium, the route finds its way into Bicard Street and proceeds until Hospital Street. At this junction, cars turn left, proceed along Hospital Street and then turn left into Landros Maree Street. They drive down Landros Maree Street until Bodenstein Street where the route turns right. At Kerk Street, cars turn left and then immediate right into the open parking area. At 12:00, the first car leaves the parking area for the official start of the event and turns right onto Kerk Street.
