In addition to numerous pieces of equipment, an increased number of medical personnel must be considered as well. The introduction of new procedures can quickly push even the most modern room to its ergonomic limits. A flexible space concept is a must in this fast-paced and highly progressive environment. Pendula offers you just that: Precise positioning and an enhanced range of motion of the freely suspended monitor frame. You retain full view of the images and information you need to get surgery done safely and successfully. Single point suspension In contrast to ceiling mounted rail systems, the single point ceiling suspension offers more positioning freedom. In conjunction with the two-part support arm, the Pendula system features a wide positioning radius. Moreover, the arm can be adjusted vertically up to 80 cm. Thanks to its free floating design, Pendula swings away vertically or horizontally in the event of a collision. This reduces the damage as well as the risk of injury to patients and staff in the highly dynamic environment of the hybrid OR. Flexible format Hybrid ORs are usually custom made. Precisely for this reason, the Pendula system offers a wide range of combinations and sizes. Choose from four different arm lengths for motion radii up to approx. 2.5 m and 7 frame sizes. You get the customisation you need without having to make ergonomic or workflow compromises.
