بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Surah Hud Work Book Ayah 50-60 Fehm Al Qur'an-Happy Land for Islamic Teachings
ھ ود ا أ خ اھ م ع ا د و إ ل ى إ ن ق ا ل ی ا ق و م اع ب د و ا أ نت م إ لا م ف ت ر و ن غ ی ر ه إ ل ھ م ن ل ك م م ا الله And to 'Aad [We sent] their brother Hud. He said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. You are not but inventors [of falsehood]. و إ ل ى ع اد ھ ود ا أ خ اھ م ی ا ق و م اع ب د وا الله Why is Hud alaih salaam called their brother in this ayah? What is Hud alaih salaam advising his nation?
ی ا ق و م لا أ س ا ل ك م ع ل ی ھ أ ج ر ا إ ن أ ج ر ي إ لا ع ل ى ال ذ ي ف ط ر ن ي أ ف لا ت ع ق ل ون O my people, I do not ask you for it any reward. My reward is only from the one who created me. Then will you not reason? أ س ا ل ك م لا أ ج ر ا أ ج ر ي ال ذ ي ف ط ر ن ي ت ع ق ل و ن أ ف لا Whom should we seek reward from for our good deeds?
و ی ا ق و م اس ت غ ف ر و ا ر ب ك م ث م ت وب و ا إ ل ی ھ ی ر س ل ال سم اء ع ل ی ك م و ی ز د ك م ق وة إ ل ى ق وت ك م و لا ت ت و ل و ا م ج ر م ی ن مد رار ا And O my people, ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in showers and increase you in strength [added] to your strength. And do not turn away, [being] criminals." اس ت غ ف ر وا ت وب و ا ال سم اء ی ر س ل مد ر ار ا ق وة و ی ز د ك م و لا ت ت و ل و ا What is the benefit of seeking forgiveness from Allah swt? Why is rain beneficial? Give 3 reasons.
ق ال وا ی ا ھ و د م ا ج ي ت ن ا ب ب ی ن ة و م ا ن ح ن ب ت ار ك ي آل ھ ت ن ا ع ن ق و ل ك ل ك ب م و م ن ی ن ن ح ن وم ا They said, "O Hud, you have not brought us clear evidence, and we are not ones to leave our gods on your say-so. Nor are we believers in you. م ا ب ب ی ن ة ج ي ت ن ا ب ت ار ك ي ن ح ن و م ا آل ھ ت ن ا What did the nation of Hud alaih salaam say to him?
إ ن ن ق و ل إ لا اع ت ر ا ك ب ع ض آل ھ ت ن ا ب س و ء ق ا ل إ ن ي أ ش ھ د أ ن ي ب ر ي ء م ما ت ش ر ك و ن و اش ھ د و ا الله We only say that some of our gods have possessed you with evil." He said, "Indeed, I call Allah to witness, and witness [yourselves] that I am free from whatever you associate with Allah اع ت ر اك ب س و ء الله أ ش ھ د إ ن ي ب ر ي ء م ما ت ش ر ك ون What are the nation of Hud alaih salaam saying to him in this ayah?
ف ك ید ون ي د ون ھ م ن ت نظ ر و ن لا ث م ج م یع ا Other than Him. So plot against me all together; then do not give me respite. ف ك ید ون ي ج م یع ا ت نظ ر و ن لا ث م What is Hud alaih salaam s reply to his nation (ayah 54,55)?
إ ن ي ت و كل ت ع ل ى الله ر ب ي و ر ب ك م ما م ن د اب ة إ لا ھ و آخ ذ ب ن اص ی ت ھ ا إ ر ب ي ع ل ى ص ر ا ط مس ت ق ی م ن Indeed, I have relied upon Allah, my Lord and your Lord. There is no creature but that He holds its forelock. Indeed, my Lord is on a path [that is] straight." ت و كل ت إ ن ي الله ع ل ى و ر ب ك م ر ب ي د اب ة م ن مس ت ق ی م ص ر ا ط Explain this in your own words: There is no creature but that He holds its forelock.
ف ا ن ت و ل و ا ف ق د أ ب ل غ ت ك م ما أ ر س ل ت ب ھ إ ل ی ك م و ی س ت خ ل ف ر ب ي ق و م ا غ ی ر ك م و لا ت ض رون ھ ش ی ي ا إ ن ر ب ي ع ل ى ك ل ش ي ء ح ف یظ But if they turn away, [say], "I have already conveyed that with which I was sent to you. My Lord will give succession to a people other than you, and you will not harm Him at all. Indeed my Lord is, over all things, Guardian." ت و ل و ا أ ر س ل ت إ ن ر ب ي ش ي ء ع ل ى ك ل ح ف یظ و ی س ت خ ل ف What happens to a nation if they do not follow Allah s commands?
ج ا ء و ل ما أ م ر ن ا ن جی ن ا ھ ود ا و ال ذ ی ن آم ن و ا م ع ھ ب ر ح م ة ع ذ اب غ ل ی ظ من ا م ن و ن جی ن اھ م And when Our command came, We saved Hud and those who believed with him, by mercy from Us; and We saved them from a harsh punishment. و ل ما ن جی ن ا آم ن و ا و ال ذ ین غ ل ی ظ ع ذ ا ب What is this ayah informing Nuh alaih salaam of?
ر س ل ھ و ع ص و ا ر ب ھ م ب ا ی ا ت ج ح د و ا ع ا د و ت ل ك ج ب ا ر ك ل أ م ر و ات ب ع و ا ع ن ید And that was 'Aad, who rejected the signs of their Lord and disobeyed His messengers and followed the order of every obstinate tyrant. ج ح د وا ع ص و ا ع ن ید ج ب ا ر ك ل
ھ ذ ه ف ي و أ ت ب ع وا ال دن ی ا ل ع ن ة و ی و م ال ق ی ام ة أ لا ب ع د ا ل ع ا د ق و م ھ و د أ لا ر ب ھ م ك ف ر و ا ع اد ا إ ن And they were [therefore] followed in this world with a curse and [as well] on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, 'Aad denied their Lord; then away with 'Aad, the people of Hud. ل ع ن ة ال دن ی ا ھ ذ ه ھ و د ق و م ل ع ا د ب ع د ا Why are Aad cursed in this world and in the hereafter?
