with some jumping and a cross country ride Now Hiring Parelli Natural Horsemanship is seeking a Graphic Designer/Web Developer for a full time position in Pagosa Springs, CO. No freelancing - In-house position only. Candidates will be expected to conceptualize and execute designs under tight deadlines while working both independently and as a collaborative member of the team. We want a creative, energetic, team player with experience in all aspects of graphic design, layout, production, and web design. He or she must show highly developed design skills and the ability to handle a high volume workload with attention to detail. Consistency in volume and quality of work is necessary. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years related work experience. Demonstrated ability to create and produce creative graphic solutions and manage multiple projects effectively and simultaneously Proficient in the use of current design software including, but not limited to, the Adobe Creative Suite, QuarkXPress, and Dreamweaver. HTML and CSS experience is a plus. Working knowledge of pre press and Question: When I yo-yo my horse, she responds well to the back up and the draw. We are even getting to the point that she will trot in to me. Yet, when she comes to me, she won't give me both eyes. I always get her left eye. I have tried to disengage her until she brings her head around so she will find comfort giving me the other eye. She continues to give me her one eye...any suggestions? Answer: There are two reasons a horse keeps you in one eye, lack of confidence or lack of respect. So she either "can't" look at you or "won't" look at you. If you know her Horsenality that should be a good clue. Here is what to do: if she is more RB use more retreat as in keep fading backwards until she looks at you and then stop. And stay there a long time but don't ask her to keep looking at you. Retreat and repetition build confidence and that's what this horse needs, and actually the more you drive her to give you the other eye, the worse she'll get because it feels like too much pressure. If she's more LB, then you need to use more drive to get and keep her attention. The LB horse is more difficult to back up and easier to draw, but when they draw in they tend to put their ears back yet not really look at you. Page 3 of 7

Working knowledge of pre-press and printing processes. Minimum Parelli Level 1 Graduate. To apply for this position, please email resume/cover letter with a minimum of 4 portfolio samples to to jobs@parelli.com with "Graphic Design Position" in the subject. Every time those ears go back, drive the horse's front end away (backwards or off to one side) because you don't want her to come to you with that look on her face, and then ask for the draw again. Repeat this until your horse keeps focused on you and has her ears forward. She might even get hesitant to come to you for a little bit but that's okay, just smile and softly draw her to you. Pretty soon she'll be asking questions as she comes towards you... two eyes, ready to back off if you tell her. Trust that helps! Students, faculty, staff, family, and friends enjoyed this intimate setting in the lodge. Katie was able to share her passion for songwriting and singing. Click Here to check out Katie's premier video, "In Your Shoes". Parelli Australia Just wanted to send in this picture of my 27yr old Left Brain Introvert enjoying a good scratch. He is my first horse and I have owned him now for 15 years. I love him so absolutely and I have always wanted to hug him and pat him but have felt sad since it became clear to me that Mick did not enjoy my hugs and kisses. Thanks to Pat and Linda Parelli I can now offer my horse the kind of physical contact he is craving. A good scratch under the chin. I thought I knew my horse inside and out after 15 years together, but now i am learning new things about him every single day thanks to Parelli Natural Horsemanship. I know Mick has never been happier! I don't get to spend a lot of time with Mick at the moment as he is currently 3 hours drive from where I live (hopefully that will be changing very soon), but at least the time we do spend together now is enjoyed by both of us. Thankyou so much Team Parelli!! Yvette Fenning Rockhampton, Australia Parelli New Zealand Parelli will be presenting a daily display in the main arena at this year's British open held at the NEC arena Birmingham Thursday 3rd - Sunday 6th April. Catch BETA International on Horse&Country TV Horse&Country TV - tune in to Sky Channel 280. Parelli Canada My wife and I have been riding for maybe 5 years but had never owned a horse when I decided for Christmas 2006 to offer her a horse for Christmas. We had heard of Parelli before and she decided right from the start that this horse, an off-the-track Standardbred mare, would be a "Parelli" horse and that she would herself become a "Parelli" rider. Nine months later she has accomplished a great deal of progress with MaeWest Next Week on RFD-TV Tank Part 3 with Pat Parelli: Become a more The film crews from Horse&Country TV were out in force at this year's BETA International Trade Fair and an hour long programme looking at the latest innovations in the equestrian industry, new products and services goes on air on Saturday, March 15 at 9pm. The programme will be repeated on Tuesday, March 18 at 9pm. Find out the latest news from some of the country's top riders who visited the event and found the time to talk to and that's when my story begins...i decided to jump on the Parelli train myself after seeing such tremendous results with MaeWest and also after spending many days on the sidelines watching my wife and MaeWest having so much fun Parelli style. The occasion came when a young woman owner of a Quarter Horse mare named Princess, boarded at the same Horse Center where MaeWest was, decided that she was too scared to ride her horse and wanted to sell her. And I must say that the way she was interacting with her horse was not safe at all and, to that extent, she made the right decision. But I said to myself, this horse can be a fanstastic horse if we do Parelli with her. So I bought her last September and started right away to train her with the Parelli method. Soon it was obvious that she was a "natural" Parelli horse in the sense that she caught the seven games so quickly. After only a few months, it's quite evident that her behaviour has completely changed. Amazing! This horse was really meant for Parelli and I am the one getting all the rewards. As is often the case, my wife and I are the only ones using the Parelli method at our Horse Center and a lot of owners at this place didn't know what to think of it...we often look like martians with our seven games and carrot sticks! But everybody noticed the change in Princess' behaviour and suddenly, we're not martians anymore!!! Page 6 of 7
