Pre-K -K Ball: A size 3 ball is used for games. Player Equipment: Shoes and shin guards, covered by the socks are mandatory at all practice and game activities. Soccer shoes, tennis shoes, or similar type athletic shoes are recommended. The type and condition of cleated shoes must be inspected for safety before use. No Baseball cleats Games: Teams shall play 4 v 4 on field 30 yards in length and 20 yards in width. Field(s) are located in outfield of tball field. There shall not be a goalie for this league. Teams may play one defensive player and that player may not stand in the goal acting as goalie. There will not be refs for this age group. One coach per team is allowed on the field with team during play to assist with the game. The other coach should remain with the team. Only 2 coaches per team for games allowed on the team side. Substitutions at any stoppage and are unlimited for each team. Playing time is a minimum of two periods per game and no player should play four periods until everyone has played three. Duration of Game: Four 8-minute periods. Running clock with a 5 minute half time period. Coaches may halt time as they see fit for players substitutions, hurt player, etc. Home team shall keep the recorded time of the game or game clock. The Start of Play: The game should be started with a kick-off in the middle of the field. The Kick-off: The registered home team shall kick off first in the game. Score: Score shall be kept and recorded in the SIPlay app by the home team for tournament seeding at the end of the year. Coaches and players will shake hands after each match. No overtime tie is a tie during regular season play Season The season will consist of 8 games plus a single elimination tournament based on seeding. Tournament games shall not end in a tie. There will be a 3 minute sudden death overtime. Meaning the first team to score in that 3 minutes wins the match. Kick off for sudden death will be determined based on a coin toss. Fouls & Misconduct 1

Direct free kicks for all fouls, with the opponents six yards away from the ball. Free kicks are awarded the attacking team inside the defending team's goal area should be taken from the nearest point on the goal area line in front of the goal. There are no penalty kicks. Coaches will work cooperatively with each other and eliminate the need for cautions and send-offs. Throw Ins: All kids must do throw ins and given several attempts to do so properly. No penalty is enforced for an improper throw ins. Hand balls are called if Intentional hand ball. No penalty kicks. No sliding at ALL. If sliding occurs than that team will lose possession of the ball to the other team. Keep the Players on their feet. On Corner kicks the opponents remain at least four yards from the ball until it is in play. Heading the ball is prohibited and if the ball is headed the other team shall obtain possession. Parents/non-participating players and spectators should be there to enjoy and encourage the activity of the players in the game..the coach must ask all others to move to the spectators side of the field of play. Coaches need to inform the parents of these above rules. 2

You can sub for dead ball, out of play ball, throw ins, goal kicks. The player must already be at the middle of the field and ready to go in. You cannot sub on a penalty kick. You can only sub on a corner kick if you have possession of the ball. but you cannot hold up the game to sub. The player must go to the center of the field for any substitutions and wait for the ref to either wave them on or whistle and then have them come onto the field of play.
