HOT COCOA SALE to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society sponsored by Whittier Student Council & Whittier PTO The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society s (LLS) Student Series campaign is working with Whittier school and schools across the country to raise funds for blood cancer research. They are saving lives of blood cancer patients not someday but today. Our Student Council and PTO have partnered up to help support this great cause. By purchasing a cup of hot cocoa you re helping millions of people around the world by funding research for: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Please join us to help fight for a cure! Whittier at the Movies!! Permission/Contact Slip Friday, February 23 rd Despicable Me 3 (PG) If your child(ren) is/are planning to attend the Whittier at the Movies event without your supervision, your child(ren) must provide this completed form in order to be admitted into the movie. Please print legibly, making sure to include the best phone number to contact you, in the event it is necessary to do so. Please do not return this completed form to the Whittier office. It should be given to your child(ren) to be turned in when purchasing a movie ticket. Please be sure that your child(ren) come to school with the money needed to purchase a ticket and treats please do not leave money in the Whittier office for the volunteers to purchase tickets and/or treats on your child s behalf. Please pick up your child(ren) from the Whittier auditorium at 5pm. If you indicate below that your child(ren) is/are allowed to walk home after the movie, they will be dismissed after the movie. The rest of the children will remain in the Whittier auditorium until their parent/guardian arrives to pick them up. Thank you for supporting your Whittier PTO!! Plan to host a party with your friends to benefit the PTO. Take a moment to get inspired by the fun party ideas included with this sheet and fill out the attached Party Donation Form. happening at the fun fair HOST A PARTY TO BENEFIT THE PTO! Find a Co-Host (or two or three) Planning a party is 1 a great way to spend extra 2 time with your friends. Determine who the party is for (adults only, whole families, or just kids the 3 4 choice is yours) and decide how many spaces to offer. Pick a theme, venue, date (between March 15 and September 30) and time for your party. Fill out the attached Party Donation Form and return it to the office by Feb 27th, or email it to katehaarvei@gmail.com.
