the orla kiely warranty orla kiely certifies that this watch has been produced using first class materials and fully tested before leaving our manufacturing centre. Subject to the conditions stated below, this watch is guaranteed against defects of material and manufacture for the period of two years from the date of purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights. The guarantee does not cover the following: Batteries, straps and bracelets. Damage caused by accidents or mishandling of any part of the watch, including straps, buckles, bracelets and lenses. Water penetration, except in watches marked as water resistant (ATM). Tarnishing of the watch case or bracelet caused by external agents. basic watch care Keep this booklet safe as it has important information about the care of your watch. The battery should only be replaced by a qualified technician. Remove your watch before applying sprays or cosmetics. Do not allow contact with any corrosive agent (e.g.: petrol, paint, all solvents and adhesives as this may affect the case and finish). Avoid humid atmosphere. Please note this product is not water resistant unless marked. disclaimer:- Please be aware light coloured straps i.e. whites, creams and pastel colours, are prone to attract colour transfer from other surface materials and cosmetic substances. Please take caution whilst wearing these products as discolouration of straps is not covered within the guarantee.

In the unlikely event of a fault arising, under the terms of the guarantee, return the watch directly to orla kiely watch services (see back page for details), where it will receive expert attention and will be returned promptly. Please include with your watch the completed warranty form and enclose proof of purchase clearly stating the nature of the fault with your name and full address. bracelet watches Take care to avoid bending the bracelet beyond the normal curvature of the wrist. It is recommended the watch be kept in the presentation box when not in use. Avoid placing the watch under heavy objects or loose in a handbag. water resistance If your watch is not marked, usually on the back of the case, with either the words Water Resistant or a degree of water resistance (3ATM), then it is not water resistant. Care should be taken to avoid getting the watch wet as damage to the movement may result. 3ATM: The watch is designed to withstand accidental splashing or rain, but is NOT suitable for swimming. 5ATM: The watch is designed to withstand leisure type swimming (i.e.: swimming baths, yachting and taking a shower). It is NOT designed for high board diving, scuba diving, etc. 10ATM: The watch is designed to withstand swimming, yachting, taking a shower, shallow diving but NOT scuba diving.
product servicing At orla kiely we offer excellent product servicing for watches outside the guarantee period. These could include: Complete movement overhaul Battery replacement Case and glass cleaning Straps and charms The watch will then be guaranteed against defective workmanship or materials for a period of six months in accordance with the exclusive clauses previously stated. leather care orla kiely watches use carefully selected leathers of the highest quality standards. Variations in the colour and grain are natural characteristics of the leather. Environmental conditions can affect the durability of your strap, please treat it with care and limit exposure to direct heat or sunlight. Keep your watch dry and away from wet surfaces. Do not use chemical cleaners on your strap and avoid contact with cosmetic products, such as fake tan or perfumes. Light soiling can be cleaned using a weak soapy water solution on a barely damp soft cloth. When you are not wearing your watch, we recommend you store it in the gift box received with purchase.

mesh bracelet adjustment instruction Unlock clamp plate by using an appropriate tool or even a simple paperclip. Move the entire clasp to adjust length by sliding along the bracelet. Adjust length while wearing the watch to make sure you get a good fit. Make sure the clasp locates into a moulded indent on back of bracelet. Lock clamp plate in position by pressing it into place using your thumb. clamp plate clasp retaining bar bracelet sliding ladder DO NOT use retaining bar to gain leverage as this will cause damage preventing the clasp to lock. removing bracelet links Watches with removable links are a quick & easy way of being able to shorten bracelets.* Lift the tab at the end of the centre section on both clasps and remove link. * Only applicable to watches with bracelet bands.
multi dial watch The hands in the small displays show day, date and 24 hour time. To set the Date, pull the crown out to first click position 2. Turn the crown to set the date (You should not adjust the date between approximately 9PM and 3.00AM). Push the crown back to the normal position 1. To set the Time/Day pull out the crown to position 3 when the second hand points to 0 (after 12 o clock). After setting the time, use a time signal to synchronise the watch by pushing the crown back to the normal position to start the second hand going. You cannot quickly adjust the day of the week. In order to adjust the day, you must advance the hour hand by 24 hours per day. Always rotate the hour and minute hands in a clockwise direction to set the day. day date 24 hour indicator 1 2 3
setting the date and time for chronographs To set the time pull out the crown to the second click position 3. Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands (Check that AM and PM are set correctly). Push the crown back to the normal position 1. To set the date pull out the crown to the first click position 2. Turn the crown clockwise to adjust the date. Push the crown back into the normal position 1. Note: If the crown is pulled to position 2 while the chronograph has started, the chronograph hands will continue to move. This is not a malfunction. Note: Do not set the date between 9:00PM and 3:00AM, otherwise the date may not change properly. using the chronograph To start the chronograph press button A. The chronograph hands will start moving. To stop the chronograph press button A again. The chronograph hands stop to indicate the elapsed time. Press button B to reset the chronograph. All the chronograph hands will be reset to the 0 position. The chronograph can measure up to 30 minutes and then the chronograph stops. The chronograph can be restarted by pressing button A. During chronograph operation, button B is inoperable. accumulated elapsed time Press button A to start. Press button A to stop. Press button A to continue accumulating time. warranty repair information Your orla kiely watch is guaranteed against any defective parts or construction for two years from the date of purchase. Your guarantee is only valid if you present your original receipt when returning the watch. The guarantee provides you with additional rights which are beyond the consumer statutory rights. Please note that this guarantee does not cover breakages caused by accident or maltreatment. Batteries are not covered. A full complete after sales service is also available after the guarantee expires at a nominal charge.
