Covering the State of Montana July 2014 Celebrating25Years June 30, 2014 Hello Big Sky Members, Presidents Message... Wagon Master Message Thank you Gary & Marcia for hosting the Ft. Benton Rally. Thank you also to Karen Davis who made a poster board in honor of our first meeting/rally in 1989. We had 12 coaches in attendance plus Andy and Kathie Balogh as guests. The parade was great and the fireworks were some of the best I ve ever seen. We dry camped at the fairgrounds. We had a special light dinner after happy hour in honor of our 25th Anniversary. Andy presented the club with a certificate and a check for $100. Kelly & Pat Kruse won the recliner chair graciously donated by Pierce RV. Tom & Dianne Clump won the $100 attendance award. This Years Rallies: July 17-20, 2014: Hosted by Dennis & Carol Ogle, and Co Hosted by Bill Walling & Lois Freeman at the Bearmouth Chalet & RV Park in Clinton, Montana. See rally flyer in this newsletter. If you haven t made your reservations there still may be time. Call Dennis Ogle at once! Don t miss this one. August 2014: No rally this month due to the FMCA 90th Family Reunion in Redmond, Oregon. By the time you read this the inaugural summer rally held on June 26 29 in Fort Benton, is history. Unfortunately, Dixie and I only got to be with everyone Thursday evening due to another commitment back home. Thank you Gary & Marcia Drosten and Gene & Susie Farr for hosting. Even though our time with everyone was short, it was certainly good to see and visit with some of our members for the first time since last September. We also got to meet first time attendees Pat and Kelly Kruse and Bob and Donia Bovee. Welcome to our Big Sky family! We hope to see you again at another of our rallies this summer. It was a productive evening as well in that it was the first of two business meetings of the year. Andy Balogh, our Northwest Area President, and wife Kathie were in attendance as well and presented our Big Sky Chapter with a certificate and check for completing 25 years of service. A big thank you to Karen Davis who made a display with pictures of the first Big Sky rally held in 1989. Safe travels to all and we hope to see you soon. Mike Teague -1- September 18-21, 2014: Hosted by Mike & Dixie Teague in Havre. See this newsletter for flyer. This will also be a business meeting where our officers will be elected for the following 2 year term. I am working on the rallies for 2015 as it will be here before we know it. Klaas & Johanna has agreed to host August 2015 for the Potato Festival in Belgrade. There is a Strawberry Festival in June in Billings, who would like to step up and host this rally?
