NIPPER BOARDS Our nipper boards are provided on training days, on Sundays, and at competition events, at no charge to the nippers, so that all kids have the opportunity to enter the water. These are maintained by the club and are expensive. We ask that ALL nippers, who borrow a board for ANY event, return it to the club shed after using it. They need to be washed down and returned directly to the shed and not left outside on the ground. We appreciate your assistance with the above.

We would like to produce WANDA merchandise to sell. If you would like to participate in this new committee, please contact Steve Southwell on 0404 963 700.

POSITIONS VACANT FOR 2013/14 We have been fortunate to have the support, management, and expertise of two wonderful PARENTS who have volunteered their time and commitment for years within the Wanda JAG team. As their children reach the end of nippers and head into senior club, these positions will need to be taken over by a new dedicated parent, for the season(s) ahead. Team Manager Position Kenny Smith, an awesome bloke, has worked relentlessly, and tirelessly, to train our kids on both the beach and within the water to reach some awesome goals, whether in the club, in competition, and particularly in STATE. We have been very blessed to have such a dedicated parent. Next year, Ken will be hanging up his gloves. We need a parent who would like to follow in this gentleman s footsteps. A new parent who would be interested in becoming Team Manager should contact Ken on 0431 044 834. Registrar Position Maria Stavros has done an OUTSTANDING job in managing the registration of upward or 450 Wanda members for the past couple of years. This is not an easy task, as ALL details that come with a registration need to be entered and managed so that all information is transferred securely and confidentially to surf life saving management. Maria will be happy to assist the newcomer who is willing to take on the role of Registrar. Maria can be contacted on 0410 650 545. Secretary Position Tracey Green has given her time and energy to be Secretary to Wanda JAG for the past three years and has also managed the costume sales and presentation days amongst many other things. As her Son prepares to move into Seniors, the Secretary role will need to be taken up by a new parent. Tracey has a wealth of knowledge of the club and is very happy to assist the new person to ensure a smooth transition to the role. Tracey has been such a dedicated parent and team member and has been a great asset to Wanda. Contact Tracey for further information regarding the position on 0414 651 343. There will be other positions that will need to be filled for the next years season, and we will keep you updated as to what they are in future weeks.

SPONSOR OF THE WEEK: THERE IS NO SPONSOR OF THE WEEK UNTIL WE RESUME IN JANUARY 2013. SPONSORS ALWAYS WELCOMED There are so many hard working people that make this club run, but many of us are time poor, so another way to help is to become a sponsor. If you are interested in sponsoring an age group and advertising your business, please contact Ian Blackhall. He has lots of ideas to help promote your business blackers@unwired.com.au. INTERESTED IN PUTTING SOMETHING IN THE NEWSLETTER? Contact me, Belle, at annabelscott1@bigpond.com or Ian Blackall at blackers@unwired.com.au. If you have a board to sell, take a photo and write a description with the cost and email for me to put onto the newsletter. FOR SALE FOUNDERS ROOM When entering the Founders Room upstairs for your bbq and drinks purchasing, please ensure that you are dry, sandless and wearing shoes. As you know this has recently been renovated and new furniture will be arriving shortly. We would like to keep it maintained and appreciate your assistance with this.
