I would like to thank everyone that made these two tournaments a GREAT Success. It s because of individuals like you that make these events successful. Thank you for all your hard work! I would like to congratulate all the Triple Crown winners, and new CFA State champions!!!! If you see these individuals congratulate them because a lot of hard work goes into winning these tournaments. Additionally, I would also like to congratulate those CFA members that competed in World Archery Festival held in Las Vegas last February. One last thing, it is not about winning or losing, but about going out and playing your best game. Look at it as a social event with individuals that enjoy doing what you enjoy. CFA President Mike Have Bow, Will Secretary Note: If you have an item that you would like discussed at the monthly meeting, please email it to me at tanyahide@hughes.net or call (307) 640-2801, no later than Friday prior to the Board Meeting and I will make sure it is added to the agenda. THANK YOU Carl!! Used Targets for Sale A proposal to purchase the used 3-D targets from Bullseye was discussed and will be presented to Charlie. If accepted, we will make the purchase. Bow Press We are accepting donations for the new bow press. See Neal Perkins if you would like to donate. Once the new press is purchased, we will sell the old press. Thank you to those of you that have already donated. Tax Exempt Status We have obtained clarification on our tax exempt status. Any item the club purchases for the use of a fundraiser is considered tax exempt. All other purchases are subject to sales tax. Range Floor Renovation We have been discussing re-painting/renovating the range floor. Several options were discussed, including industrial enamel, epoxy and rubberization. We have tabled this discussion until some bids can be obtained for different types of work. State Indoor The State Indoor was a success, thank you to all members that helped make this tournament a success and to WSAA. CFA will host State Vegas 2010. Tournament Planning We continue working on the planning for the last leg of Triple Crown and Bow Hunters Weekend. Thank you to Mac for checking into option for the overall TC winner prize. We think all the overall TC winners will like the new prize. We have secured a food vendor, Road Kill Catering, for BHW and we are working closely with the Park on other BHW details. Great news for the out-of-state shooters that camp during BHW, the park is only going to change these campers the resident camping fee for BHW only. Included in this issue of the newsletter and on the CFA website is a target donation form, if you know of a business or individual that might be interested in donating/sponsoring a target for BHW, please provide them with a copy of this form and accompanying letter. All help with this task is appreciated. Spring Club Clean-up The spring club clean-up is scheduled for April 22 nd from 5 pm?? and April 25 th from 9 am??. Eats will be provided!! Please come on out to help keep our club clean. All help is appreciated!!! BOW Banquet The BOW Banquet is March 21st in Cody, Wyoming. A registration form can be found on the CFA website and page 3 of this newsletter. It was moved and approved to donate a coat to BOW from CFA. Target Butts We will be leaving the target butts on the back wall of the range the way they are currently set-up. This will help the targets last longer and save the club money since it will only take 9 butts, instead of 12, to cover the back wall. If you have any questions or concerns, please see a board member. Meeting adjourned at 8:20pm.

Page 3 P.O. Box 20790 Cheyenne, Wyoming 82003 The 26 th annual CFA Bowhunters Weekend hosted by (CFA) will be held August 1 st & 2 nd, 2009 at Curt Gowdy State Park. Bowhunters Weekend is the largest outdoor 3-D shoot in Wyoming. This shoot will draw Archers from Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska and Utah. Past shoots have registered over 300 shooters. Many of these participants also bring friends and family members along to enjoy the camping and festivities associated with this shoot. Money raised from this shoot will help provide funds to promote archery in our area. Our request is for a donation of any kind, but we would prefer gift certificates, archery related items that would be raffled off as door prizes, or sponsorship of target. This would help us promote archery and in turn, help us promote your company/organization. Any help that your company/organization could provide us would be greatly appreciated. Along with your gracious donation, if you could provide us with a banner or poster, we would proudly display it at our club and at our shoots. Sincerely, Thank you in advance for your generosity.
