At X Adventure Activities we specialise in offering outdoor experiences throughout the UK with a Personal touch. At X Adventure Activities we have a passion for the outdoors, we love what we do and it is this passion that drives us to deliver hugely memorable outdoor adventure experiences for you, your friends and families. We have developed a range of adventure trips throughout the UK; ranging from canoeing expeditions in Scotland to coasteering and gorge scrambling in North Wales. You don t need any experience to take part on our trips and we pride ourselves on the number of novices we introduce to the great outdoors. Our trips are about fun, challenge, adventure and making friends. Our experienced staff team; will always go the extra mile to make your adventure as al as possible. We organise everything for you; including accommodation, equipment and where possible catering and transport. We welcome anyone over the age of 14. Wet and Wild, North Wales Join us on our most popular trip. 180 per An amazing 2-day adventure trip to the wilds of Snowdonia and Anglesey; take part on some of the best adventure activities that the UK can offer. Coasteering - a wet traverse of the tidal zone; swim, climb and jump along the sea cliffs. Dressed in a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet you will experience what the ocean has to throw at you..literally! Gorge scrambling - a wet 2 ½ hr climb up a series of waterfalls, plunge pools and rocks in Snowdonia. A wetsuit and buoyancy aid will keep you warm on your journey; a great challenge in an amazing place. Rock climbing - climbing doesn t get any better than on the limestone crags of Holyhead mountain. You get an amazing view from the top of our 100 ft climbs! Accommodation on Friday and Saturday night; using a bunk barn or a farm house cottage. A cooked breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning. WHAT IS INCLUDED? River Wye Canoe trip 150 per A fantastic experience paddling on one of the most amazing canoe trips in the UK. The river is found on the Welsh / English border and has a selection of interesting sections ranging from wide meandering river bends to moderate moving water with small rapids, rocks and waves. Accommodation on Friday and Saturday night. All camping equipment, including; tents, sleeping bag, sleeping mats, head torches, stoves, fuel, pots and pans. A tandem canoe usually paddled by two people All specialist equipment; paddles, helmet and buoyancy aid. All wet al equipment - wet socks, spray cags and dry bags You don t need any canoeing experience as an instructor will be with you throughout the journey and the sections paddled are not difficult. The trip is run over a weekend, arriving on Friday evening; followed by a full days canoeing on both Saturday and Sunday. WHAT IS INCLUDED? The Descent, Scotland 540 per This is the classic canoeing adventure trip in the highlands of Scotland. The River Spey descends through the Cairngorm's National Park all the way from Newtonmore to the North Sea. Our Expedition covers over 70 Miles of the River Spey, travelling through a huge variety of environments and conditions. The expedition starts on small meandering river bends surrounded by some of the most picturesque mountain environment in the UK, travelling through loch Insh; then leading onto the famous grade two rapids of the Spey descent and eventually onto the River mouth and the North Sea. Accommodation on Saturday, Sunday and the final night in a lodge or bunk barn. The remaining three nights are camped on the river bank. All camping equipment, including; tents, sleeping bag, sleeping mats, head torches, stoves, fuel, pots and pans. Breakfast, lunch and dinner whilst canoeing on the river; Sunday to Thursday (this doesn t include comfort food and snacks on the river or food for Saturday or Friday). We will organise everything for you; the equipment, instruction, food on the river, accommodation and if required transport (from Chelmsford, Essex). Accommodation on Saturday night at the Black Swan campsite. All camping equipment, including; tents, sleeping bag, sleeping mats, head torches, stoves, fuel, pots and pans, A tandem canoe usually paddled by two people All specialist equipment; paddles and buoyancy aid. All wet al equipment; wet socks, spray cags and dry bags The journey is a mix of great locations, wildlife, meandering river bends, narrow river sections and water reeds; sometimes a challenge but a great journey for those wanting to learn the basics of canoeing. You don t need any canoeing experience as an instructor will be with you throughout the journey; just bring a sense of fun and adventure. May Nov Saturday 14 th (arrive at 10:00) - Sunday 15 th (depart afternoon) Saturday 5 th (arrive at 10:00) - Sunday 6 th (depart afternoon) The trip is run over a weekend, arriving at 10:00 on the Saturday; followed by a full days canoeing on the Saturday and Sunday. The journey takes us from Brockdish to Bungay. Saturday night is camped on the river bank at the Black Swan Inn near Hommersfield. The campsite is positioned next door to a pub that serves some great food, alternatively make your own arrangements in a local b&b. For no extra cost we can provide you with all the necessary camping equipment; including a tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag, cooking stove, fuel, pots and pans. All of the specialist canoe equipment is provided; you will just need to provide al clothing and food.
WHAT IS INCLUDED? 160 per Rock Climbing, the Peak District Our rock climbing trips are designed for anyone who would like to learn more about climbing on Real rock. You might have climbed on an indoor wall or you might be a complete novice. These trips will introduce you to climbing in a safe and challenging way. If you ve climbing before we can set the ropes and off you go. If you haven t we teach you how to safely operate the ropes and provide close instruction on some of the best crags in Britain. You can even shadow the staff as they rig the ropes and systems if this is a skill you are looking to develop. We use the renowned Grit stone crags of the Peak District. The rock is clean and the friction excellent. The Peaks is a great place to build your climbing skills and confidence as each area we use has different graded climbs from easy to hard. Accommodation on Friday and Saturday night; using a bunk barn or a farm house cottage. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate throughout the weekend. Rock climbing and abseiling throughout Saturday and Sunday Friendly, fun and experienced climbing instructors. All specialist safety equipment including all climbing hardware and ropes All al climbing equipment including; harness, helmet, climbing shoes and a chalk bag. Aug Oct Friday 12 th (arrive from 18:00) - Sunday 14 th (depart afternoon) Friday 14 th (arrive from 18:00) - Sunday 16 th (depart afternoon) We also include a 100 ft bridge abseil for good measure The trip is run over a weekend, arriving on Friday evening; followed by a full days climbing on the Saturday and Sunday. We provide the equipment, instruction and accommodation, all you will need to provide is appropriate clothing and food for the weekend. We can also offer you transport from as little as 12.00 per
You never know what s on your WHAT IS INCLUDED? Canoe Day trips Join us for some leisurely days out on the River; you ll be amazed at what canoeing adventures you have on your door step. We paddle two to each canoe so come as a pair or join with someone on the day. Our canoes are safe and very stable. You don t need any experience as the whole day is instructor led. The day starts at 10:00 and finishes at 16:00. You will need to bring suitable al clothing, drinks and lunch; we provide everything else including all safety equipment and water sports equipment. The River Stour, Cattawade, Suffolk 39 per The Suffolk Stour is a beautiful stretch of water from Cattawade to Dedham; a distance of 6.5 km (13 km return journey) covered at a leisurely pace with lunch on the river bank. This is Constable Country and the river epitomises idyllic English countryside. Join us for an amazing day, no experience required. Canoe, paddle and buoyancy aid. All specialist safety equipment. Personal wet equipment - spray cags and a dry bag. Environment agency licenses to paddle the river. River Stour April Saturday 30 th (arrive at 09:30) Oct Saturday 1 st (arrive at 09:30) River Medway Aug Thursday 17 th (arrive at 09:30) Nov Sunday 13 th (arrive at 09:30) The River Medway, Yalding, Kent Paddle along the historic Medway with close up views of oast houses, orchards, fields and woods. The scenery is breath taking as we paddle leisurely upstream. We even have the opportunity to shoot the canoe pass which adds some white water to the experience (optional). We lunch on the river bank and will continue upstream as far as the day allows and return back to our start point in the afternoon, no experience required.
