Organizers: The Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) in conjunction with the National Society of Radio Controlled Aerobatics (NSRCA) is pleased to host the 27th FAI World Championship for Aerobatic Model Aircraft in 2011 in the United States of America. The location of the event will be the International Aeromodeling Center (IAC), which is home to the AMA Headquarters, the National Model Aviation Museum and the International Flying Site. This beautiful 1,000, acre (404,6 hectares), facility features all forms of aeromodeling Control Line, Free Flight and Radio Control. The flying sites are far enough apart that there is no potential for aircraft on Site 3 to interfere in the airspace on Site 1. Since the flying sites face north, there are no problems with the sun for the entire day so flying can take place for well over 12 hours a day. There is also an additional practice facility (grass field) at Site 4. This site will only be available for practice after 22 July 2011. There will be other national competition before 23 July, and all competitors are welcome to attend as spectators. 8
