Eligibility Athlete Eligibility 4 4 8 All athletes must comply with the provisions of the Olympic Charter currently in force, including but not limited to, Rule 41 (Nationality of Competitors). Only those athletes who have complied with the Olympic Charter may participate in the Minsk 2019 European Games. Age Requirements There are no age requirements for athletes competing in Table Tennis in the Minsk 2019 European Games. Medical and Anti-Doping Requirements To be eligible to participate in the Minsk 2019 European Games, all athletes must satisfy the medical requirements according to the EOC Medical and Anti-Doping Guidelines. To be eligible to participate in the Minsk 2019 European Games, all athletes must comply with doping control process in accordance with the EOC Medical and Anti-Doping Guidelines and the EOC Anti-Doping Rules. D. Qualification Process The qualification system allows for the participation of the best athletes through a fair and transparent process within the framework of the Olympic Charter. MEN Special Ranking List as of 1 December 2018 The best according to the Special Ranking List as of 1 December 2018. 9 The European Table Tennis Championships in Alicante, Spain 18 23 September 2018 ITTF World Men s Ranking List as of 1 March 2019 The eight (8) highest placed athletes in the 2018 European Championships Men s event. One (1) best ranked athlete, not yet qualified, according to ITTF World Ranking List as of 1 March 2019 will qualify one (1) quota place. In addition, respecting the maximum quota allocation per per event: 12 s qualified in the Men s are each given the right to enter two (2) athletes; 16 s qualified in the Mixed Doubles are each given the right to enter one (1) athlete; Three (3) Universality places. The total number of athletes taking part in Men s event shall therefore reach a maximum of 52, with unused quota places allocated according to ITTF World Ranking List as of 1 March 2019. MIXED DOUBLES 15 pairs (30 athletes) The European Table Tennis Championships in Alicante, Spain 18 23 September 2018 ITTF World Mixed Doubles Ranking as of 1 March 2019 The eight (8) highest placed pairs in the 2018 European Championships Mixed Doubles event. The best seven (7) pairs, not yet qualified, according to ITTF World Mixed Doubles Ranking List as of 1 March 2019. Athlete Host Process The Host is guaranteed the following allocation subject to meeting the eligibility requirements detailed in Section C. Three (3) Places in Men s event Three (3) Places in Women s event Two (2) Places in Mixed Doubles event Universality Numbers Three (3) Male Universality Places are made available to eligible s at the Minsk 2019 European Games. Three (3) Female Universality Places are made available to eligible s at the Minsk 2019 European Games. The Universality Places will be allocated by the EOC in conjunction with the ETTU by 5 March 2019. E. Confirmation Process for On 15 March 2019, MEGOC on behalf of the EOC and the ETTU will inform, in writing, s of the athlete quota places they have obtained at the Qualification Event. By 25 March 2019, eligible s must inform, in writing, MEGOC whether or not they intend to use the allocated quota places and participate in the Minsk 2019 European Games. By 10 April 2019, the ETTU will reallocate all available quota places and inform, in writing, MEGOC. Version 3.0 March 2018 5

F. Reallocation of Unused If obtained through the qualification process and allocated quota place from is declined by the or is not confirmed by the by the deadline, the quota place in that event will be reallocated to the next best ranked athlete(s)/, not yet qualified, from ITTF World Ranking Lists as of 1 March 2019. This process will be repeated until all places are allocated. G.
