IN THE BAR HAPPY HOUR ON FRIDAY IS FROM 4PM TO 6PM ON BEER SALES (NOT INCLUDING GUEST ALES) FRIDAY NIGHT BAR BINGO Friday night Bar Bingo, Quiz and Karaoke starting at 6pm takes place in the bar and lounge areas. All members are welcome to come along to this very lively evening and bring the kids and any other friends and family. The Friday night bar bingo is taking off very well reaching its highest ever winning of 59.00. The cost of one ticket is only 1 purchased on the night. This is for a full house only and the winner gets all the ticket money which over the last few weeks has been steadily increasing. The Easter Special for one night only with prize money donated by the Comrades Club. For one line only - 10.00, for 2 lines only - 15.00 and for the full house 20.00. On this occasion the full house winner got the 20 and the money for tickets purchased 59, making a grand total of 79! AFTER THE BAR BINGO A ten question quiz follows the bar bingo with quizmster Johnno. Teams of two or three people take part for 2 a team. Question sheets when completed are passed to other teams for marking. The winners get drinks from the bar.

THE FINALE OF THE EARLY EVENING ENTERTAINNMENT - KARAOKE Once again, Johnno is in charge of this and gets people of all ages up to sing. The youngsters love this and some of them are extremely talented. Come along and join in this lively evening. Meet up with friends. Have a reasonably priced tipple or two. Enjoy the entertainment and yes, you could be a winner! HUNTINGDON COMMUNITY RADIO RACE NIGHT HCR104fm held their fundraising Race Night on Saturday 14 th May in the hall. It was a really good night and some of our members joined in other HCR104 guests. Even though the numbers of people participating were not as great as they had hoped but have made a contribution to the Comrades club for the use of the hall. The radio station were keen to express their thanks to the Comrades club and the committee for the use of the premises which enabled this level of fundraising to happen. The smiling compere was none other than one of the radio presenters, Dave Shepherd. SNOOKER TABLE NOTICE Token time on the snooker tables to be increased from 20 minutes to 30 minutes with a price increase from 1 to 1.50

The Comrades Club host the 4th Godmanchester Bomber Command Veterans Day, an event that has quickly grown in significance. At present we look forward to welcoming 14 WW2 RAF Veterans, including Pilots, Navigators, Flight Engineers, Bomb Aimers and Gunners. We also hope that one of the few remaining Battle of Britain Hurricane pilots will also be there. You can purchase books, or bring you own to be signed. Entrance fee is 3, childen under 16 free. For 10 you can have two items signed by all the veterans who are able. Or you can just say hello, shake their hand and have a brief chat. There will also be a great selection of exhibitors, all connected to the RAF, WW2 and even the chance to buy a print to hang on your wall. Great day, great atmosphere and lots of money raised.
