Please return all necessary documents, along with your money order or guaranteed bank check by November 1 st, 2016. Please ensure all necessary documents are notarized where indicated.

This package contains the final documents necessary to participate in the Pigskin Tournament. If any information is incorrect, please contact the Pigskin Tournament immediately. Please review your financial information immediately. Please be advised, once a participant is registered for the tournament, there will be no refunds should a participant drop from the tournament. Upon registration, the Pigskin Tournament orders the shirts, patches, medallions, etc. Should anyone who has reserved a hotel room fail to attend the tournament, the team may be liable for the cost of the room if the reservations were not cancelled according to hotel policy. This is out of the control of the Pigskin Tournament. At the request of teams who attended the tournament in previous years, cheerleading squads attending this year, with their team, will also be able to receive an event t-shirt, medallion and patch if they so desire. There is a nominal cost of $20.00 per cheerleader for this benefit. This is an optional cost and is solely at the discretion of the team. If your cheer squad is interested, please ensure you fill out the cheerleader participant form. No Roster changes or additions will be made after November 15 th, regardless of circumstances. NO EXECEPTIONS The game schedule will be posted once all teams have arrived and completed their registration process on Wednesday, November 23 rd. Please keep in mind that GAME SCHEDULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE! We have had teams contact us with special requests on game days and/or times due to travel schedules. We will attempt to accommodate these requests to the best of our ability. Any special requests will be reviewed on a firstcome, first-serve basis. Special requests for game days and/or times are not guaranteed. TEAMS MUST CHECK IN NO LATER THAN 8:00 PM ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 23 rd, 2016. In the event of an emergency, immediately contact the Pigskin Tournament Administration at (702) 604-PASS or (702) 918-6822. Please have all paperwork, birth certificates, etc. ready for check-in. Players should be in alphabetic order. The parents of all players must have signed the Waiver/Release to be eligible to compete in the Tournament. Team check-ins will be very busy. The earlier you can check-in, the less wait time you will have. Please remain patient during this process. Parents do not need to be present for team check-ins. Any money due by a team must be paid by Cash, Money Order or Traveler s Check. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Be advised, it is a FELONY to write a bad check in the State of Nevada. Please ensure all players have the necessary equipment to compete. All players MUST have a mouth piece which attaches to the helmet facemask and a cup and supporter. Failure to have the proper equipment will result in a player being ineligible to compete in the tournament. Also, steel tipped cleats are NOT allowed.

Teams are matched for competition by Average Weight and Age. The Average Weight will be calculated minus the team s lightest and heaviest players. Any player who s weight exceeds the average competition weight + 15%, not to exceed 15 lbs for 11 year olds and under, or 20 lbs for 12 year olds and older, will be designated a down lineman only. Players designated for down lineman positions will have an X placed on their helmet by the NYFL. Under no circumstances may X players offensively carry the ball. X players may advance the ball only during defensive turnovers (i.e., fumble recovery, interception). A maximum of 5 X players will be allowed on the field at the same time. Example: Team A - Average Age, 12.5 years. Lightest Player 78 lbs, Heaviest Player 174 lbs. These players are not used in the Team Weight Average. The remaining player s weights, averaged together, equal 112 lbs. 15% of 112 is 17 lbs. (rounded). Ball carriers must be under 129 lbs (112 + 17). Any player over 129 lbs will be designated an X player and is ineligible to offensively advance the ball.

"One man practicing sportsmanship is far better than 50 preaching it." --- Knute Rockne Ensure all participants understand Good Sportsmanship. It is our experience that, during a game, each team can expect to receive 3 questionable calls by the Officials. Do not argue calls with the referees. If you wish to discuss an official s call, speak ONLY to the White Hat, not the Line Judge on your sideline. The officials are High School officials, but sometimes mistakes are made. Should a player be ejected by the Game Officials, it may jeopardize that player s ability to continue competing in the Tournament. Fighting by anyone will result in a game ejection and removal from the remainder of the Pigskin Tournament. Head Coaches are ultimately responsible for the conduct of all coaches, players, parents and spectators on their sidelines. Should a coach or parent be ejected for misconduct, they will be escorted to the Pigskin Tournament office until the conclusion of the game. Should an ejected person fail to immediately leave the game fields when instructed, the Pigskin Tournament Administration will contact the Las Vegas Metro Police to remove the person. Please advise everyone on your team, the Pigskin Tournament Administration takes sportsmanship and proper conduct very seriously. You have brought your children to participate in the Tournament so THEY can have fun. The Pigskin Tournament Administrators will be present at the fields during all games. Additionally, we will have on-site security patrolling the fields. Should you need any assistance, locate the nearest administrator or tournament security personal. If there is a possible serious injury, DO NOT MOVE THE PLAYER and DO NOT REMOVE THE PLAYER S HELMET. Find the nearest Pigskin Tournament League Administrator or Security person. Any serious injury will be responded to by calling 911. Familiarize yourself with the Las Vegas roads and ensure you know where the fields are located. Be advised that the Thanksgiving Weekend is very busy in Las Vegas and traffic delays are possible. Give yourself plenty of time to arrive at the fields prior to your games. If possible, it is suggested to arrange a shuttle from the hotel to the fields. Check with your hotel upon check-in regarding their shuttle services.

Las Vegas, Nevada November 24 th 26 th, 2016 Team Name: City: State: Rules Book This book contains the forms, rules and procedures which must be adhered to for teams participating in the 2016 National Youth Football League Pigskin Tournament (hereafter referred to as Tournament ). The Tournament will be placed under the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). NFHS and Tournament Rules are for game competition. Your league may have rules regarding post-season competition which may or may not be superceded by NFHS or Tournament Rules. The Head Coach of each team participating in the Tournament is ultimately responsible for all records keeping, team finances and conduct of all participants (including parents, spectators, etc.) attending the tournament. You may assign a Team Manager to assist with the coordination, communications and records keeping of your team. However, having a Trip Manager does not relieve the Head Coach as the final responsible party. We expect up to 130 football teams to participate in the tournament. Due to the number of players, cheerleaders, coaches and parents expected to attend, we must limit the authority to contact the Pigskin Tournament to ONLY Head Coaches and/or the Team Manager. The tournament will not accept phone calls from Parents. Parents must contact the Head Coach, who in turn, may contact the tournament for additional information. All documents submitted to the Tournament must be notarized. This includes your League Roster. Failure to have the Tournament documents notarized will prevent your team s acceptance into the tournament. All team documents must be returned to the Pigskin Tournament no later than November 1 st, 2016. Acceptance of Pigskin Tournament Rules, Terms and Conditions I have read and understand the rules and terms of Pigskin Tournament regarding my/our team s participation in the Tournament. I understand that all teams participating in the Tournament must arrive in Las Vegas, NV no later than Wednesday, November 23 rd, 2016. I further understand that failure to arrive in sufficient time to allow the tournament administrators to verify player ages, weights and team documentation may result in the team s disqualification from the tournament. I understand that the Pigskin Tournament begins on November 24 th, 2016 and continues until November 26 th, 2016. I have discussed the rules and expectations of proper conduct with all Tournament participants, including but not limited to Coaches, Players, Parents and other spectators who may be attending as representatives of my/our team.
