Indoor Pool Phone 643-5966 Online Registration using Skyward Family Access InDistrict registration opens on Wednesday, April 6. Out of District registration opens Monday, April 25. PRESCHOOL/YOUTH FEES In District Out of District $8 $60 NEW this year for T1 & T 2 Morning Swim Lessons!! 1. We ve made a change to how many terms of morning swim lessons you may enroll your child in. You will no longer be allowed to register your child for 2 consecutive terms of morning swim. If you register your child for Term 1 and want to register them for a second set of lessons, you must register for a Term 3 or Term 4 lesson. If you register your child for a Term 2 swim lesson you can only select a second set of lessons in Term 4. This will help to provide better management of the scheduling of swim lessons. 2. If you are enrolling your child for a full morning of classes for Semester 1 (4 wk) and would like to include a swim lesson in that schedule, we have created a Term 1 & Term 2 class opposite morning swim lessons for period 1, 2 or 3. That class is called Olympic Mania. Olympic Mania is only for kids who are registered for a full morning of classes and need a Term 1 or Term 2 class opposite their swim lesson to complete their schedule. 3. Class size, student age, and skill requirements are set for the safety of the children. Please do not request to have your child put in a class with a higher age of skill requirements. 4. We realize that children can progress faster or slower than anticipated and we will make schedule changes if space is available. PARENT & TOT SWIM - 6 Months to 4 Years CLASSES ARE 30 MINUTES IN LENGTH A parent or caregiver must accompany each child in water PARENT TOT - LEVEL 1 6 months to 2 years Provides experiences & activities for children to: 38 PARENT TO - LEVEL 2 2-4 years of age Builds upon the skills learned in Level 1 & provides experiences & activities for children to: Learn to ask for permission before entering the water Establish expectations for adult supervision Learn how to enter & exit water in a safe manner Learn ways to enter and exit the water in a safe manner Feel comfortable in water Explore submerging in a rhythmic pattern Explore submerging the mouth, nose, eyes & Glide on the front and back with assistance completely submerging Perform combined stroke on front and back with Change body position in the water assistance Learn how to play safely Change body position in water Experience wearing a US Coast Guard approved life jacket PRESCHOOL LESSONS - Ages 4-6 Years CLASSES ARE 30 MINUTES IN LENGTH PRESCHOOL LEVEL 1 4-6 Years Orients children to the aquatic environment and helps them gain basic aquatic skills. PRESCHOOL LEVEL 2 4-6 Years Must have skill comprehension of PS Level 1. Helps children gain greater independence intheir skills and develop more comfort in and around water. Experience wearing US Coast guad approved life jacket. PRESCHOOL LEVEL 3 4-6 Years Must have skill comprehension of PS Level 2. Helps children start to gain basic swimming propulsive skills to be comfortable in and around water. AMERICAN RED CROSS SWIM LEVEL DESCRIPTIONS Aquatics CANCELLATION POLICY: Should you need to cancel or withdraw, contact us at 608-643-8386 or email us at community.center@saukprairieschools.org. No refunds or removal of fees due will be provided for classes canceled after May 18, except for medical reasons or if a class is canceled by the Aquatics Director. If you find that you need to make a change to your child s schedule, a $5 processing fee may be charged.
