TOURNAMENT FORMAT OPTIONS Tee time tournaments This format is most commonly used for groups of 52 or less. All golfers tee off on the first tee utilizing consecutive 7 10 minute interval tee times. Modified shotgun events Ideal for groups of 56 88 golfers wishing to have a shotgun start, Beechwood offers modified shotgun starts on select dates according to course availability. Your group will be divided into A&B groups and spread over an adequate number of holes in order to start and finish in a shotgun format. Double tee crossovers A double tee format is when golfers tee off on #1 and #10 at the same time using 7 10 minute tee time intervals. This allows golfers to finish a lot closer together to help with timing for any after golf food and beverage plans. This starting time set-up is ideal for groups of 56 88 players. Double tee crossovers are available on select dates and according to course availability. Shotgun events Suitable for larger groups of 88 144, this format allows all groups of players to tee off simultaneously from designated holes. Shotgun events are offered at either 8:00 am or 1:00 pm. TOURNAMENT ORGANIZER CHECKLIST & INFORMATION Finalizing Dates Once you have selected a date for your event, Beechwood will provide you with a tournament agreement. You will be asked to sign and return a copy of the agreement form along with your initial deposit in order to finalize your registration date. Please be advised, your event is not confirmed until the signed agreement and deposit have been received. Final billing for golf & catering will be based on the guest numbers provided and guaranteed 14 days prior to your scheduled event Selecting a Menu Beechwood offers a number of standard food menus to help ease the complexity of tournament planning. Customized menu options are available for an additional fee. Your dedicated Event Coordinator will review the menu packages with you and if desired, can recommend custom food experiences to help you WOW your guests. Tournament Experience Playing format is important in determining pace of play for the day. Your Event Coordinator can assist you in choosing the format of play to best suit your event as well as on course contests and special events. This course is designed to play within 4 hours so your cooperation in keeping a reasonable pace of play is appreciated. Proper golf attire is required. No outside alcohol is permitted on the premise. Number Confirmation Guest numbers for golf and catering will be requested 14 days prior to your scheduled event. The Foursome List A list of golfers sorted by foursome will be requested 7 days before the event to allow enough time for cart signage perpetration. Billing and Payment We require a deposit of $500 with the tournament agreement. The balance of the payment must be made the day of the event.
