Parents Code of Ethics Remember that youth sports focus on learning the fundamentals of their given sport. Your youth athletes are still learning and are going to make mistakes. Try to stay positive during practices and games and praise them for what they did right and focus on how they are improving. Encourage your child and team; do not insult or discourage the other team. Encourage good sportsmanship. Support your coach and his/her decisions on what is best for your players team. TRPR youth sport programs use our local elementary schools and middle school for practices and games. Please be respectful to their property and remember to follow their rules and guidelines. Due to the lack of facility space in the community, practice times may =luctuate due to school functions. TRPR strives to have a youth sports environment free from drugs, tobacco, and alcohol. Use is strictly prohibited at any TRPR youth sporting event. Any parent guilty of improper conduct at any game or practice will be asked to leave the sports facility and could face a suspension from future games and practices. Enjoy watching your player have fun while learning the fundamentals of Basketball! Too often, people get caught up in a win at all cost philosophy; that is not the philosophy to which we aspire. The results we hope to see in this program are good coaching, good sportsmanship, and positive outlook on continued participation in athletics. We wish you all a successful and rewarding season!
