FLYING FORKS STATIC SHOW A GREAT SUCCESS!!! Tony and crew certainly outdid themselves this year culminating in a very, very, successful static show. I ve got a few pictures from the show, that I hope you enjoy seeing. Many thanks to Dick Baker for donating 2 beautiful planes for us to give away. I m sure the lucky winners were very excited to be able to take them home. With the combination of the train show by Smokestack Hobbies and our Static show I think this event will continue to grow. We had a very good array of models on display, very good club participation and the winner is. Many swap tables with an abundance of jun..err great models and modeling products for sale. For Sale Ads I put this in the last newsletter and received no responses. No interest??? I have been giving some thoughts to adding a For Sale column to the newsletter and just thought I d pass the idea by you and get your feedback. Give it some thought and let me know what you think. Spring cleanup day Last Saturday we had a good group of guys show up at the field to get things spruced up for the up and coming flying season. The field looks very good and the cookout was even better! Sorry more could not have made it and join in the good times. Be sure to note the changes in the agenda as some dates have changed.

Just when I thought no one paid any attention to my request for feedback concerning a For Sale column I received an email from Tom Jones with a full page of airplanes he would like to sell. Unfortunately we don t have room to publish his list and I think we will have to look into putting such a long listing on the web site. In the meantime if anyone is looking for any kits or ready to fly planes give Tom a call.
