Team Texas Superheroes! 2013 Ford Youth World All the Team Texas youth stayed cool with the help of our slushee machine! Avery Ellis and Bailey Anderson hung up our new stall drapes. Our newbies received special ribbons to hang on their stalls.

Parade of Teams Alexis Shanes made a sign supporting Texas superheroes, first responders. Daniel Dalager carved up watermelons for all members of Team Texas before the Parade of States.

Jailed at the Youth World? Team Texas interpreted the 2013 Youth World theme of Be Somebody s Superhero as Thank You First Responders and decorated accordingly, earning a 4 th Place finish in the stall decorating contest. Our decorations were wonderful, but one stood out and became extremely popular
2014 Aggie Super Circuit The Cahill Gang The Dessert Divas (Nancy Cahill and John McDaniel) got all decked out in costume to support TQHyA. Nancy Cahill and Terry Cross TQHyA Officers Ashley Sioco, Avery Ellis and Bailey Anderson TQHyA held a benefit bake sale at the show and raised $1,671.

TQHyA Race Experience The TQHyA Race Experience was held on July 25 and 26 in San Antonio. TQHyA members Shiloh Morales, Claire Hohertz and Ali Fratessa assisted with the TQHA Yearling Sale during the day and attended races in Retama Park in the evenings.
Texas-Style Leadership The Region 8 Leadership Conference Giving youth their first rides on the backs of American Quarter Horses TQHyA members helped run a Stock Horse of Texas Association show. Members also assisted at the Best of the Remuda Sale at the Forth Worth Stock Show.
Y.E.S. 2014 Ali Fratessa was elected to a Region 8 Director position. Checking in Lauren Bergman and Emily Woodard represented the Stock Horse of Texas Association as well as TQHyA.
2014 AQHA Youth World Cup The 2014 Youth World Cup was held in College Station, Texas. Team Texas was represented by Ali Fratessa and Chloe Bening. Other members of Team USA included Jack Meadows, Carli Pitts, Graysen Stroud, Colby Ringer, Bailey Cook, Mary Claire Cornett, Lindsey Brush and Kalee McCann.
2014 AQHA Youth World Cup Jack Meadows, Past TQHyA President Logan Pluhar and Ali Fratessa Ali, Nancy Cahill and Michelle Tildwell (USA Trainers) Texas was represented with top-3 finishes in Horsemanship and Equitation, as well as multiple top-10 and finalist finishes in other events.
