TEAM REPORTS Rosewood Roosters U8 s Report: This week we played Redbank Plains at Rosewood. Our young Roosters were unstoppable and played like the stars they all are. We would like to thank Hunter from U7 s for playing with us this weekend. Even though we don t keep score, our team managed to keep Redbank Plains from scoring with Joel R, Riley and Zach M topping the tackle count for the game. Tries were scored by Heidi, Zach M, Hunter and Jack this weekend. These tries were scored on the back of some great off-loads, quick play the ball and big hit ups by Joel R, Jack, Zack C-M and brilliant breaks and quick stepping by Ryan, Riley and Joel H. This week the award was given to Jack Purnell. Well done Rosewood Roosters. Deb Team Reports Rosewood Roosters U9 s Report: Saturday s game saw our boys take on Redbank Plains on yet another beautiful warm day. With the Roosters playing very well, Redbank Plains also played very well making our boys having to work hard right across the field. Every player tackled hard and some great runs were needed to bring the opposition to a stop. A great try scoring effort by Jack V who crossed the line a few times after some very long sprints. Player of the Match went to a very well deserving Josh for his consistent defensive work. A top effort by every player on the day, and thanks to the parents for making sure the boys are at training and games ready to go each week. Kellie Reinke Manager Rosewood Roosters U10 s Report: What a weekend of footy! We had a home game along with everyone else on Saturday against Redbank Red. Nice time of 10.40am to kick off, the boys took the field with great strength in defence. It was a great battle with all the boys really taking part in the game. They should all hold their heads high after a great effort in a tough game. We have our Man of the match, which went to Bryce and Most Improved, which went to Izabella. Well done and great effort by all the team. Look forward to seeing this team grow on the field over the season. Trish Wells Manager

TEAM REPORTS CONTINUED Rosewood Roosters U11 s Report: On Saturday our under 11's played at our home grounds. It was a hot day but everyone put in a great effort. The first half had the players getting used to being back on the field after the 2 week break, but the second half showed that each and every player is improving. It is great to see the team gel together more and more every week. Well done to all players, this weeks try makers were Cooper, Seth and Kodyn with the help of everyone putting in such a great effort. Congratulations Nathan for receiving man of the match and Seth for this weeks most improved. Go Roosters!!!!!!!!!!!! Katie Manager Rosewood Roosters U15 s Report: What a great game had by all the boys. Again only playing with 11 players, the boys came away with the win downing Swifts 22-20. Our try scorers for the night were Christiaan 2, James 1 and William 1. Well done boys keep up the hard work. Shane Coach U17 s Report: Karalee/ Lowood/ Rosewood played Swifts on Friday night and won 10-8. We won the game by having a strong defensive line with some very hard tackles. In our attack, the boys had some great runs and we moved the ball well but still need to work on our ball handling skills. Overall it was a great win, well done boys. Shane Coach
