Age: 16 years SUGAR Breed: Percheron cross Color: Grey Sex: Mare Sugar has been a part of Auburn s teaching herd for almost eight years. She is as sweet as her name and has served our students well. She has also served as a nurse mare for many orphan foals (will be returning to Auburn just in time for this sale). It is time to retire her to the permanent home she deserves. Sugar has arthritis, but is likely sound enough for trail riding (she has not been ridden since coming to Auburn). She also suffers from COPD (respiratory problems) in the summer, so pasture turnout would be the best environment for her. This beautiful mare would be an excellent babysitter for young horses. All that know her have fallen in love with her.
