RULES & REGULATIONS 1. HOT WEATHER POLICY The show will be cancelled if the weather forecast is 38 C or over. Please refer to the channel 7 news at 6pm Saturday 7 th February 2015 for a correct Murray Bridge forecast reading. Please contact committee if unsure on details / cancellation. No competitors that have pre entered will be contacted. 2. ALL CHEQUES ARE TO BE MADE PAYABLE TO THE MURRAY BRIDGE A & H SOCIETY ONLY any cheque received without this written as payable will be sent back to competitor with entries. 3. Some stabling available at $15 per stall per day, bookings to be made on Entry Form and payment must accompany entry form. Stables issued on a first in, first served basis.. Stables must be left clean. 4. All rings start at 9am sharp. It will be the responsibility of the Exhibitors to choose their events at their personal preference as some events may clash. The Committee will not hold events. 5. All owners to be financial members and all horses/ponies to be registered with their individual Breed Societies. 6. Registration papers to be available for inspection on the day of the Show if requested by the Committee. 7. All Exhibits to compete in their Breed Classes under the rules laid down by their particular Breed Society. 8. All riders competing in the Pony or Riding Club events are to be a member of the said Club and produce their Club Attendance Cards to the steward before entering the ring. Riders to wear V neck jumpers and ties in these events. 9. No Exhibits to be shown in Pelham bits or double reins while competing in the Pony Club or Riding Club events. All Pony Club and Riding Club exhibits to be shown in snaffle bit. 10. Unregistered horses/ponies events are only eligible for horses / ponies that have no registration. If you compete in this ring you are not eligible for any other breed ring and vice versa. 11. Foals to be led or secured at all times while on the Showgrounds. 12. All exhibits are to be in the control of capable handlers at all times. Stewards reserve the right to remove from the ring any Exhibit which may endanger another Handler or Exhibit. 13. Winners of the Best Presented events are not eligible for Championship awards in their respective Breeds. 14. Protective headgear and footwear must be worn while competing in all ridden classes. 15. Protests to be accompanied by a fee of $50 and a written report to be in the Secretary s hands within 20 minutes of the incident, money to be refunded if protest is upheld. 16. All dogs to be kept on a leash at all times or they will be impounded. 17. No livestock to be tethered to any buildings or fences. 18. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE THERE TO BE ANY TRUCKS PARKED IN NON TRUCK PARKING AREAS If you are asked to move and refusal takes place entries will be withdrawn and you will be asked to remove yourself and horses from the grounds. 19. The Committee reserves the right to add, delete or combine any events or change the Judging sequence of any ring at their discretion. 20. The Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any entries at their discretion. 21. Any person giving wrong description or giving annoyance to the Show Officials or Judges is liable to disqualification and may be barred from future shows. 22. No lunging of horses on the OVAL OR RING 9!!! No exceptions! 23. The judges' decision is final. 24. Competitors eligible for Supreme LED and RIDDEN exhibit MUST have won Supreme of their breed or Champion where Supreme does not exist. 25. Entry Fees & any other expenses will not be refunded by the Society or HIA Committee. PLEASE DO NOT POST CASH It is an Australia Post offence.
