EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE IMPORTANT CHANGES Entries on day but exhibitors are welcome to pre-enter Futurities are also on the day but pre-entry is preferred Futurity Prize Money will be handed out later during the show to allow calculation of prize money. Futurity entries CLOSE 7am Sunday. Futurities start 7.30am IMPORTANT INFORMATION On arrival at the grounds, please come to the NOMINATION BOX to collect your entry tickets and Bridle Number/s and ensure you have signed the Affinity Waiver Form. All those entering the ring complete a Waiver. PLEASE READ the new Waiver & Insurance requirements. Horse Health Declarations are now law in Queensland so MUST accompany entries The Nomination Box will be manned & accepting entries from 3pm to 5pm on Saturday 29 th HARD COPIES OF ALL RELEVANT MEMBERSHIPS AND REGISTRATIONS MUST ACCOMPANY ENTRIES OR THE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Showing paperwork on mobile phones is not acceptable. Waiver Forms MUST be signed before entries will be accepted. Horse Health Declarations MUST be completed and lodged with entries. Entry Forms, Horse health Declarations & Waivers will be available at the nomination box. The person named on the Waiver must sign the form, as an agent s signature is not acceptable, and this person will be given an official wristband only those with wristbands will be allowed in the arena. Gate Stewards will only allow those with wristbands to enter the ring. Exhibitors may pre-nominate if they wish to avoid the line up at the nomination box Futurity Entries may be pre-entered but will also be accepted on the day & closing 7am Entry Forms for the classes will be available at the tables at the front of the nominations box (please complete PRIOR to approaching the nominations box.) Non-Members of Dilutes Australia: $15 per person This applies to everyone entering the arena. Forms will be available online or at the nomination box. TO BE PAID WITH ENTRIES if pre-entered OR ON THE DAY. Only those with the official wrist bands will be allowed into the arena. Note: a Family Membership with DA now covers ALL persons named on the membership. This new ruling means that if you have more family members on the card then they are covered by the Company s PL with Affinity. Members for those people who help you out at shows etc and who are non-members, they can complete an Annual Non-Member Levy Form and pay $20 for the year. For this offer to be valid, a membership ID number must be provided to attach this Annual levy to. A card will be provided. 3

For all non-members who cannot produce a Non Member Levy Card, a fee of $15 is applicable in order to obtain a wristband Led Classes Entry Fee: Separate tickets will be issued $14 - first class per horse - a Futurity is not eligible as the first class $ 8 per class per horse thereafter (ribbons to fourth place) Futurity Entry Fee: Separate tickets will be issued Dilute: $15 per horse in Dilute Futurities (Prize Pool as per Open futurities) Open : $30 per horse in Open Futurities (Prize Money to first 3 places. i.e. 1 st 2 nd 3 rd ) Refundable Bridle Number Deposit $10 per horse when the number is returned. STABLING & CAMPING Stables: $25 per horse per day plus $25 refundable cleaning fee per stable (refunded on inspection). Camping : $20 per night per site CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1. A Horse Health Declaration for each horse MUST be submitted with entries or the entry will not be accepted and the horse will have to leave the grounds immediately. 2. All entries must be foal recorded/adult registered in compliance with the relevant breed society s regulations and owners to be financial members of same and exhibits MUST be shown under the registered owner s name 3. HARD COPIES OF ALL RELEVANT MEMBERSHIPS AND REGISTRATIONS MUST ACCOMPANY ENTRIES OR THE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Showing paperwork on mobile phones is not acceptable. 4. There will be an entry + copies of membership & registration + Horse Health Declaration for every horse or pony exhibited. Each horse/pony will receive its own number. This number shall not be displayed on any other horse or pony. 5. Substitution in a class is allowed only if the Ringmaster & Ring Steward & Judge have agreed. The substituted horse MUST have its own entry & documentation lodged and its own allotted number. This number will be the number recorded on the Results Sheet. The horse/pony must be eligible for the designated class. 6. Dilutes must be foal recorded/adult/ permanently registered with a recognised dilute society EXCEPT FOR entries in the Silver, Champagne, DA NSD & DA Ancillaries/NCCD Sections. All entries 4

in these 4 Sections must be Foal Recorded/Adult Registered into the relevant Registers of DA. CHAPSau & IMHR Coloured Registry are not recognised by Dilutes Australia Ltd as a recognised dilute or colour registry. 7. Exhibits must be shown under the relevant breed society s rules for showing. 8. The lodging of any entry shall bind the exhibitor to the Conditions of Entry set out herein. 9. Any cheque or negotiable instrument received or accepted by the Queensland Branch (QB) shall be deemed received as a conditional payment and subject to payment on presentation. 10. The AGE of horses is to be calculated AS AT 1st AUGUST. See page 2 11. The QB Committee has the power, without assigning any reason, to: reject or cancel any entry at any time prohibit the participation of any person or exhibit in any event cancel any event or class, or combine or split any class or classes alter the time at which any event or class is to take place remove any exhibit or exhibitor from the showgrounds transfer any exhibit or exhibitor from any class to another 12. The QB shall not be responsible for the loss of, or any damage or injury occasioned to, any exhibitor or the property of any exhibitor. 13. The exhibitor enters entirely at his or her own risk. In case any exhibit, whilst on the grounds, shall be the cause of any injury or damage to any other exhibit or exhibitor, or the person or property of any member of the QB or the general public, the owner of such exhibit shall indemnify the QB, its officers and members, from and against all damage, injury or loss occasioned to any of them by the exhibitor or their agent. 14. Any person causing annoyance by loud comments on the decisions of the Judges, or unseemly conduct or insulting behaviour, will, after being cautioned by an QB Committee member, be expelled from the Showgrounds, and said person may forfeit any prize money or trophies gained. 15. Should any exhibit having gained a prize be disqualified, the next on the list of awards does not necessarily obtain the same prize. The Disputes Committee, with the advice of the Judge, will decide. 16. PALOMINOS Should any palomino horse s mane or tail show evidence of being BLEACHED or DYED, they will be DISQUALIFIED. Any exhibitor who has been found to have dyed out spots or dyed or bleached a mane or tail will be disqualified from the class and the Show, and if a member of Dilutes Australia, will be liable to expulsion. 17. PALOMINOS registered with Dilutes Australia Ltd HALTER - Plaited, Banded, Braided & Free Flowing Manes & Tails are permitted in halter classes EXCEPT FOR the Mane & Tail Class where free flowing manes are required. Hogged & FALSE Manes & Tails and Tail Extensions are NOT PERMITTED. 18. CREMELLOS/PERLINOS/CHAMPAGNES colour of skin & hooves may not be masked by dark makeup or hoof black. They must be shown as their natural colour. Clear highlighter is allowed. 19. Any section with height restrictions may be measured on request. 20. All stallions and colts must be in the charge of a competent handler/rider 17 years of age or over, and must be under control at all times UNLESS the pony breed society allows younger handlers 21. Spraying of horses is entirely the responsibility of the owner. 22. The Management Committee reserves the right to change or amend the program at their discretion. 23. All persons entering the ring must wear appropriate footwear* and headgear. *No joggers, thongs, sandals or soft shoes you must wear boots or hard shoes with covered heels and toes. 24. No DOGS, please - Council rules apply. 5

The CD will cost $55 and this includes all costs associated with posting the CD to you. Prize Money to 3 rd PROGRESSION TO SUPREME of SUPREMES EXHIBIT OF THE SHOW: All entries are in rings according to their age not their breed/colour. There are 4 rings - FOAL born on or after 1 st August 2016 YEARLING born on or after 1 st August 2015 & on or before 31 st July 2016 TWO YEAR OLD born on or after 1 st August 2014 & on or before 31 st July 2015 THREE YEAR OLD born on or after 1 st August 2013 & on or before 31 st July 2014 There are 4 sections in each ring Dilute, Coloured, Performance & Pony At the end of every section s classes in each ring a Grand Champion of that section is judged e.g. Grand Champion Dilute Foal Using the Foal Ring as an example, all of the Grand Champion Foals will then compete for Supreme Foal of the Show. Supreme Foal consists of Grand Champion Dilute Foal, Grand Champion Coloured Foal, Grand Champion Performance Horse Foal, Grand Champion Pony Foal. And so on for each ring Supreme OF Supremes Exhibit of the Show will be judged from the Supreme Foal of the Show, Supreme Yearling of the Show, Supreme Two Year of the Show & Supreme Three Year of the Show Please ensure HARD copies of breed registrations & membership are included with your entries or your entries will be refused. This includes DA membership & registration. A completed Horse Health Declaration must accompany entries or they will be refused. Every Person entering the ring must sign a Waiver DA members included. 7
